My daughter is in the academic professional area and loves chemistry. She excelled in it while in college. I sent her this for Mother's Day and, of course, being my daughter, she opened it upon delivery! She LOVES it! It came wrapped and well protected so no damage. Comes with a wooden stand that has a button on it with an electric cord that lights it up. Even without the cords\light it is very visible to see. It is definitely unique with showing of all the elements. A fantastic gift for students, teachers and anyone interested in chemistry. Beautiful,Its sleeps very easy to it's stand, and the light working well and even able to be charged.My 8 year old loves it.We bought the small one, in my opinion it's a good size for a night table.

This is beautiful work of art, as well as a testament to science. It has two brightness levels for the light, and it is rechargable so you needn't keep it plugged in. They include a lot of thoughtful extras, and the level of care and craftmanship that went into this is above and beyond! The price is amazing too!

I know everyone said it was small, but it is tiny. The elements are nearly impossible to read. That being said, it’s pretty awesome to own and it makes me feel fancy.

Got this as a gift for my neice. She is an 8th grade science teacher. She loves it and so do her students. She thinks its cool that you can charge it so that it lights up. Im old, i hate that part. Im so sick of USBs and charging everything but its not mine so that doesnt matter. Ive been looking at these for 5yrs. This is the BEST one. Very clear, lights up, has a stand, comes with cleaning cloth and you can clearly see each element inside! Perfect size too

First off, note that I came from chemistry working as an engineering semiconductors but that said, this is one of the most stunning desk-top science pieces of art I've ever seen. And I mean this company did an excellent job of construction, readability, and just plain making it fun.Even the LED lighting enhances the experience.There is not one single thing I'd change on it!Enjoy.M

This is awesome! It's heavy, wellmade, durable. Comes in a nice box with a base, USB cord, cards, cleaning cloth and magnifying glass. The base lights up and makes all the elements glow. I got the largest size and was able to read the tiny print just fine. Got this to save for Xmas for an 18 year old. He will love it! Also bought early in case prices go up this holiday season. Great value and excellent gift! Love it!
