I really lile this...very good, waterproof, no smudges

I love this Rimmel Exaggerate Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner! The color is deep black, goes on smoothly, and the fine tip makes it easy to create precise lines or a bold wing. It dries quickly and truly stays put all day without smudging, even in humid weather. For the price, it’s an amazing value and performs just as well as more expensive brands. Highly recommend!

Positives: - long lasting - smudge proof (it crumbles if anything) - easy to remove (you can almost peel it off by the end of the day) - actually waterproof (at least tear proof) - very black but glossy and I couldn’t find a matte waterproof version Negatives: - brush is stubby and not flexible making it hard to get a sharp line - makes eyelashes crispy if you get it on them which makes putting on mascara clumpy - not eyelash curler friendly (even when left to dry it sticks to curler and requires reapplication, perhaps this is down to the glossy finish) - very black but glossy and I couldn’t find a matte waterproof version - it is smudge proof but if you rub hard enough it crumbles - not great on textured lids I want to love this product, but I have to admit, despite lots of practice I just can’t get my liner crisp with it, and the inability to curl my eyelashes after my liner is on is really annoying, especially as I don’t feel like lining after the fact gives as good a result, even touch ups look wonky. When I first started using eyeliner this was the style I used, and I thought I’d get on fine after years of using pens, but honestly I think this is too finicky, and the margin for error if you’re not stellar at putting on a wing (which I am not) is too high. Plus, I’ll admit, I’ve been spoiled recently by having a tester of the KVD Tattoo Liner, which if it wasn’t ridiculously over priced, I’d love to keep using as I particularly like the brush (not felt tip) applicator, I think it gives a much cleaner, sharper result. This eyeliner has a lot going for it and if you can perfect your application or don’t need to curl your eyelashes, for the price it’s excellent, however for me I don’t think I will repurchase once it’s finishes. Instead I will continue to look for an inexpensive brush tip pen liner, or go back to products such as the L’Oréal Perfect Slim Superliner which despite not being waterproof gives a cleaner wing in my opinion. Exactly what I was looking for – bold black and long-lasting! I’ve tried quite a few eyeliners over the years, but this one really impressed me. The black is rich and intense – not grayish or faded like some others. What I love most is the brush: it’s super precise and easy to control, even if you’re not a pro. Whether I want a thin line for everyday or a more dramatic winged look, it applies beautifully. Another big plus: it stays put all day. No smudging, no flaking – it only comes off with proper makeup remover, which to me means it really holds up. Definitely worth trying if you want a reliable, jet-black eyeliner that’s easy to use and stays where it should!

I find that Rimmel have stopped being the shops as it’s such a good eyeliner I had to get it from Amazon

The formula for this has changed with the liquid separating from the pigment after a little time.

I've used this eyeliner for probably more than a decade now. I've tried others, but they never compare. The tip is the perfect shape and is just the right firmness to produce perfect wings. It lasts all day, literally looks exactly the same at night as it did when I applied it that morning (even after a 13 hour shift on a hot hospital ward!). I apply it daily and it lasts about 3 months. Some people complain about it being watery, but you need to give it a shake each time you use it then it's perfect.

Does what it says on the tin, long lasting, bold colour, easy application. Highly recommend.

My go to eyeliner. Always performs above and beyond I truly recommend this to anyone looking for a good liquid eye liner. Fun fact this is the eyeliner any winehouse used so you know it’s good !!
