Hi. I have only tried them with Apple devices. They sell separate versions for android.

yes, they come with a standard headphone jack, the volume control and speaker may not wotk with your mp3 player if its not an ipod / iphone, but the phones will work fine. They are probably the comfiest in ear headphones I have ever worn, syay in and stay comfy for extended runs on the treadmill, weatherproof too for outdoors, ran a half marathon with mine and no issues.
