Parrot PF726203 Bebop 2 Quadcopter Drone with Skycontroller 2/Cockpit FPV

This product seems to get some unfair reviews, as do many drones. Many of the bad reviews mentioning flyaways are due to user error, so don't let them put you off. I have found it to be reliable and maintain a stable connection at all times. You do need to be aware of your mobile Wifi interfering with the controller Wifi, so make sure you turn it off. It is portable, nippy, and easy to control. The video quality is fairly good in sunlight, and you can capture decent pics either directly, or when you get back home by grabbing them from the video. Worth investing in the flight plan in-app purchase. This provides a great way of getting steady video footage and it has been really reliable in following the route and coming back. I also really like the fact that batteries and replacement parts are much cheaper than other drones, and appear to be easily installed, although thankfully no repairs for me yet. Overall thoroughly recommend for its portability and fun factor, and less of a toy grade drone than you might expect.

A few flights later as a total amateur with barely any previous experience, this is a great drone. Picture quality is not DJI Phantom quality, but neither is the price. That said the video/photo quality is excellent and Full HD (1920 x 1080). I've not had a chance to use the FPV (using your phone) yet flying, but have tested and they seem fine. The SkyController 2 works perfectly and has all the buttons you need, including the ability to change exposure, camera angle and take photos. You use your phone to view FPV, either on the controller (single view) or in the FPV googles supplied (FPV View). In sports mode this drone really flies (pun intended). I've had it moving at close to 40mph!! In video mode, it shoots steady footage and is more than capable of almost everything that a more expensive drone can do. The only let down is the software (Android/iOS available). whilst the software is great and will let you fly to it's maximum capability if you are an accomplished pilot, you have to pay more to unlock a Flight Map software and Follow Me modes. For the price you pay for this drone they should already be unlocked really. Or a code provided for a discount. I haven't yet tried these modes. Other than that, a fantastic budget 1080p 30 fps flyer that I would recommend to anyone starting out or on a tight budget who cannot afford more expensive drones. If you want a different experience with the FPV goggles I would recommend an app called Auriga Bebop (Android / not sure on iOS). These allow you to move your head to alter the camera on the drone. Very cool. Would I buy it again? Hell yeah! Would I recommend it? Definitely! Would I recommend the buyer? Yes. Product was factory sealed and delivered promptly.

The drone itself is a very good product, very easy to use and very versatile. Unfortunately this is not matched by the customer service provided by Parrot, which can only be described as very poor and impersonal. Having had the drone for only a few weeks, I had gradually increased length and variety of flights, noting that I rigorously observed all regulations, Parrot recommendations and particularly taking the time to trim/calibrate the drone before each flight. One flight took place where I took off from a flat surface, climbed to a maximum altitude of c. 40 metres, in clear airspace, when without warning one motor failed completely, causing the drone immediately to fall from the sky, sideslipping due to the initial lack of trim caused by one rotor stopping. This meant that the drone sideslipped into trees below to the side and became stuck at a height of about 13-14 metres in trees, where I could not retrieve it. I have all the telemetry and still/video imagery which shows that the drone was in clear air at all times until the failure and did not strike anything. I reported this to Parrot Customer Service, whose immediate response was that the drone must have hit something and they were not liable. I reverted to them and reiterated that the drone did not it anything and the motor failed in completely clear air. They repeated that there must have been impact and that they would offer a 40% discount. I went back to them and stated that this was unacceptable. I supplied them with telemetry from their own app. and related imagery that clearly showed the drone’s flight, that one motor failed in clear air and the error code present indicating the sudden motor failure. It was only at this point that they relented and (without any clear confirmation to me) requested that I send the drone back to them, for which they provided paid return details. Eventually, many weeks later, I received a replacement drone. However, this was not the end of the story as they had also required me to send back the charger (why?), which also fitted the charger cable for my separate Skycontroller 2, which was part of my original purchase package, but not required to be returned. When I received the new drone, the charger with it was a different fitting to this cable, meaning that I could no longer charge my controller at all. When returning the original package, I had even gone to the length of asking them to confirm that they would ensure the correct charger was returned. I have contacted them various times since this last occasion in order to obtain the correct charger which I had originally purchased – ALL OF THESE MESSAGES HAVE BEEN COMPLETELY IGNORED. It is such a shame that their Customer Service is so poor as the drone itself is very good, but I could not justify buying any further Parrot products and would certainly recommend anyone against purchases on that basis. I do not like the insinuation that I am a liar when I can prove otherwise and to ignore customer contact completely is very unprofessional.

Great fun flying this drone. Have found it really reliable, surprising fast and agile and thankfully the return to home function works perfectly! The only thing stopping me giving this 5 stars is the camera quality. Although you get a very stable picture, there are much better cameras available. Having said that, I purchased this one knowing it would not compare to DJI for camera but wanting a fun, easy to use mid range drone that I wouldn’t lose or break easily and this has done the job for me. I have also range tested to 2km successfully although you do need fairly clear line of sight for this to work

Después de haber manejado un par de drones chinos y algunos minodrones de parrot, este es por mucho el mejor, estabilidad de la cámara impresionante, la calidad del vídeo espectacular. Definitivamente disfruto mucho más pilotearlo con el control, que directamente con el celular. Los lentes del FPV, tienen buena calidad, pero no son nada cómodos

Si vous n'avez jamais piloter un drone, je vous conseil celui la ludique et professionnel en même temps la réglementation 20148 DGAC se résume en 10 points qui sont tout à fait logique (voir sur internet), se faire plaisir sans porter atteinte à l'intégrité physique et moral des personnes. Un entrainement de vol 3 D avec un matériel bourré d'électronique et très performant. Après si vous voulez la gamme au-dessus il va falloir payer le prix qui n'est pas le même, mais franchement les passionnes de belles images HD , d'un vol en 3 D vous serrez servi, depuis je m'entraine tous les jours un vrai plaisir. Ce drone n'est pas un gadget.

Acheté en reconditionné a Amazon wharehouse. Est arrivé en parfait etat, comme neuf. A part le fait que le carton avait deja ete ouvert impossible de voir la difference par rapport a un neuf. Le drone est parfaitement maniable et tres stable, tres facile d utilisation vu qu il est stabilisé ( on est plus dans la categorie jouets ). La camera est tres bien pour le vol par contre les photos en fisheye sont un peu moins bien. J'aime moins les lunettes qui zooment sur le telephone et font ressortirent les pixels du telephone donnant une image pas tres bien definie (sur un galaxie A8 en tous cas. Je ne sais pas ce que ca donne sur les telephones haut de gamme). Mais encore une fois le drone est top. Petit detail en plus la tete blache aide a connaitre en permanence la direction du drone. Je recommande vivement.

Ho realizzato il mio sogno di acquistare un drone professionale e affidabile ad un prezzo contenuto e comprensivo di zaino originale, skycontroller 2 e occhiali grazie all’offerta di Amazon. E -inaspettatamente - è la versione power del Bepop 2, con batteria LIHV maggiorata da 11, 4 V. Funziona a meraviglia, risponde docilmente ai comandi dello skycontroller 2 e fa riprese video hd nitidissime. Packaging e spedizione di Amazon superlativa.

Ero indeciso su quale drone optare tra il Parrot ed il DJI, alla fine grazie ad un prezzo pazzesco trovato su amazon warehouse (335 euro) ho potuto acquistare questo fantastico Bebop 2 in versione FPV pack. Seppure usato, il drone è arrivato in condizioni perfette, nemmeno il minimo difetto, tutto inscatolato e ben conservato. Provato subito e va una bomba, permette di volare 25 min con la batteria presente in confezione, e vi assicuro sono davvero tanti 25 min di volo ininterrotto. Le prestazioni sono da grandi, anche se io sono limitato da un uso hobbistico sembra poter andare molto di più in là dei 70 mt in altezza e 200 metri lineari. Non so se effettivamente raggiunga i 2 km come dicono, ma considerando che il segnale wifi a 200 mt, usando il telecomando, era ancora al massimo... presumo sia possibile. I materiali utilizzati sono solidi, e nonostante due incidentini con degli arbusti, il drone è tornato subito a volare ;) le riprese sono in full hd stabili, e con una saturazione dei colori molto realistica. Certo non stiamo parlando di un drone professionale, ma per un uso amatoriale, per immortalare paesaggi di vacanza direi che va pi che bene. in definitiva contentissimo della scelta.
