do what they say on the tub and Polly likes the taste
Hi my name is Polly and I am in charge of two humans who say that though these are expensive, they stop my itch, I have told my other pals at the park about them, sales should go up!

Best buy
Wasn’t too sure about these due to the mixed reviews. My Jack Russell always starts to itch around April every year and have to take him to the vets and they always prescribe steroids for him, as much as these work for him I wasn’t keen for him to be constantly taking steroids , a Jack Russell is a handful at the best of times never mind a Jack Russell on steroids lol, these have been the best thing I could of bought for him, took a few days to start working and to notice a difference in his itching but once in his system what a difference, and was completely itch free after a week of using them.

they did help our dog but a recipe change we won't buy again
Our Patterdale Terrier has always been a bit of a scratcher and were done with vets expensive tablets.3 stars for the same reason I think for what these are they are a bit expensive and the producers should consider making them a bit more affordable. As we may stop buying them and use cods liver oil supplements from a health store, and piriton anti histamine which will bring the same benefits to our dog.Our dog initially ate them from the hand. But after a week she wouldn't eat them directly at all and would spit them out. They do smell fishy and given the ingredients its no surprise. So we have resorted to crushing them into her food and double doses for the first 3 weeks.I have waited 9 weeks from purchase to write this reviewSummary is they have certainly helped our dog scratch lessI've also been using medicated shampoo on her as well for reference. Its not like we can't afford them but we just feel it's a bit of a liberty at this price point.Edit 02/02/24this product is no longer the same, we did continue to buy another tub, and reluctantly a 3rd as they did help our now dogs (weve now 2 patterdales)having been buying this for nearly a year, the last tub the product is not the same at all, salmon oil has been removed altogether it now has way to much tumeric these used to be soft crumbly, now are hard very yellow when crumbled and dusty.we will 100% not be buying these any more as ive said above now found the ingredients in other forms and will make our own additives to their food.

Didn’t work for us but worth a try
Sadly these didn’t work for us, they have a great smell to entice dogs and are easy to break up in case you want to mix it with food.worth a try as all dogs are different.

Brilliant product
These have totally transformed my mini dachshund. His belly was naked due to constant licking from irritation. He now has a full hairy belly. Vets were useless so I’m extremely glad I went for these. Will be keeping him on them for life. Brilliant product.

Doesn't work for my dog
My dog suffers with allergies all year long and has to use the expensive apoquel which costs around £190 for 100 tablets. After finding this, I hoped it would work to save me the money but unfortunately entering my third week of using it and there doesn't appear to be any signs of improvement (12 a day total). My dog is back to scratching constantly. He doesn't have an issue eating the tablets and likes the taste. I brought another tub just to keep going for another week to see if it does improve but I'm not confident it will.Perhaps it's only meant for a certain type of allergy, it worth a try if your dog has minor allergy issues otherwise I wouldn't bother and wait another while longer for an apoquel alternative to be available
