3M 1900S50 Value Duct Tape, Black, 50 mm

This is yet another review which ties in with the set of five IKEA wall cabinets that I recently wall-mounted in my living room, and I bought this black tape (and specifically because it is black) primarily to hide the cables at the back of three of the cupboards which have the under-cabinet lighting beneath them, because the (annoyingly white) cable that runs to them runs from the top of the cabinet, through a drilled hole in the top of each of them, and then through another drilled hole to the bottom of them.In the end, the tape actually came in handy with tidying up cables running down the wall and will no doubt come in very useful for a million other uses, as duct tape tends to do!As ever with tape of this variety, it's ridiculously sticky and strong and as this is 3M stuff, it will last for years.

I recently picked up the 3M 1900S50 Value Duct Tape, and I have to say, it’s done a solid job for me so far. The adhesive is really strong, which is great for all sorts of quick fixes around the house. I used it to patch up a tear in a tarp and it held up nicely, even in the rain. The size is another plus. With 50 meters of tape, you get quite a bit for the price, so it feels like a good value. The black color also blends in well if you’re using it for anything visible. That said, there are a couple of things worth mentioning. It can be a bit tricky to tear by hand, especially if you’re in a hurry. I found myself reaching for scissors more than I anticipated. Also, while it sticks well, it can sometimes leave a bit of residue behind if left on a surface for too long, which can be a hassle to clean up. Overall, it’s a reliable duct tape for general use, but just be aware of those minor quirks. I’d still recommend it for everyday projects.

Having also had white and grey versions from this company before and will have a product that one can use it for many tasks I'm sure the only snag is it is very adhesive and I get more stuck around my fingers when I tear it off instead of using scissors(and they get adhesive around the blades too) so can anyone give any solutions ??.Even so it still is good value.

Like all 3M products, the adhesion on this tape is excellent. It’s a little more pricy than the alternatives but I always opt for this. It sticks well, and the tape tears easily so no need to cut. Highly recommend.
