I normally use Taylor's of Bond Steet, but purchased this purely because I had got the pre-shave cream some weeks before. I like the pre-shave cream and thought this would be just as good. I was not to be disappointed, like other reviews have stated, it can be a little hard to lather up at first but once you get it going it's great to use, nice scent and an excellent lather. For a born again wet shaver this is a really nice, money well spent product.

Love the soap it's creamy and smells great

I bought this whilst it was on sale. I can’t complain with the price at the time. The top 5mm of the cream was slightly dried out which made it a little bit difficult to lather. But it wasn’t a huge issue. My guess is either this is something that happens with Proraso creams or that is had been stored for a long time before sale.If you are a user of Taylors creams, you’ll find this cream to be harder in any case. It isn’t a bad thing, it just means it takes a little longer to lather up.

This product worth buying gives your skin a smoother feel, I’ll be buying again.

I’ve tried many shaving soaps over the years but have to say that this is by far the best. The addition of sandalwood oil and Shea butter give it a lovely smooth texture - not to mention a warm, manly scent. It also comes in a practical, easy-to-hold bowl. To add to the shaving experience, I firstly apply Proraso Pre Shave Cream which really makes a difference. If you’re still trying to find that perfect shaving soap, then look no further folks - this product is the one to get, I highly recommend it!
