There are four of the most used split shot sizes in this set. There are not a huge number in each compartment but there are plenty that will see you through a couple of seasons, more if you are better than me at putting them back in the dispenser rather than leaving them loos in my float box!The weights seem OK for each size with my loaded floats that expect 4 BB sitting nicely with 4 of these BB shot. Using 8 of the number 4 shot also settles the float right so it looks like those are ok too. No I did not replace all the BB with number 6 shot, life, and the depth of water I was fishing in, is just too short!The lid closes tightly, I do hope however that, by the time winter rolls around, it has loosened up a bit; cold fingers could, possibly, result in dropped dispenser, probably losing all of 1 size down the bank.

The shot themselves are great. A good little package for going light weight on a day trip. The one issue I've found with the product is that the lid is quite tricky to turn. As it is a small container (2' diameter x 5/8' deep) getting a good grip on it to turn the lid is tricky. The little spots (indicated by arrows) do an excellent job at keep the pot secure however they are, on this particular pot, very tight. Being that it is made of plastic I'm sure with a bit of use it will become easier to turn.The laugh of it all while trying to turn the lid it twisted in my hands. As I should have expected it was the number 6 shots that took that as an invitation to jump out and all over the floor. Luckily I was at home so they didn't roll or bounce very far on the carpet, and any that I've missed will soon be visiting the inside of my hoover so there will be no complaints of fishing gear in the living room.

Not fully tried these yet, just set up a few rigs but they Look good to me, bought them in conjunction with the pen rod so with the pack of weights being small and the pen rod being small its great for when i go for a walk and take a pocket rod just incase you come across a decent pond and then think *Ooo, wonder if i can get a beauty in this*,it happens 🖒Overall great little pack of line weights
