Q: there's no info on wether the oil is cold or warm filtered or whether the oil is produced by fermentation - does nayone have any answer to these.???

The heavy metals naturally found in the fish oil are removed via filtration and drying using steam, citric acid and silcate, which are then filtered out during the next stage of processing to make sure the heavy metals are within EU Pharmacopoeia limits. Each batch of fish oil undergoes external heavy metal analysis once the entire purification process is completed to validate the method.So yes heat is used but this does not oxidate the oil.

Q: The container lists Omega 3 1000mg per serving. How many capsules is one serving?

Saying 'see instructions' isn't very helpful, plus the instructions are a bit misleading... it tells you the contents of '1 serving' but then above that it says '1 serving = 1 to 3 tablets'.

Q: Is the product ethyl ester or natural triglyceride? I've read that the former doesn't absorb well?

The EE form enjoys a strong safety profile when taken as directed, and a more highly concentrated, prescription EE product is approved by the FDA.
