Will this work with a raspberry pi?

Yes, works fine with mine. In general I find the K400 series to work with just about any Linux setup. Haven't found a case yet where it didn't.

Can this be used with a Samsung smart TV.

Although it connects to the Samsung TV OK the built in apps ( iplayer youtube and Amazon etc) do not recognise the keyboard

It uses 2aaa batteries, so not rechargable unless you have rechargeable AAA batteries.

Anyone know if this keyboard can be used with amazon fire tv and a logitech harmony remote simultaneously?

Hi, The Amazon Fire stick and the Logitech keyboard operate like ships in the night, they cannot see each other. So, to search for movies, the Amazon stick's remote control needs to be used, the Logitech keyboard cannot.Any infra-red remote (like the Logitech Harmony) can continue to be used simultaneously.If your TV has built-in applications (i.e. a so-called 'smart TV') then the Logitech keyboard can most likely be used to control the applications, and again it will continue to work with any infra-red remote (they work independently and therefore can be used with the same TV simultaneously). By "used to control the applications" I mean the keyboard can be used to input text into (say) Youtube running as an application on the Smart TV, or Netflix running on the Smart TV as another example. This seems to work with at least the Panasonic and Sony TVs I have tried it with. Note that if your TV has built-in Amazon Video capability then the Logitech keyboard's keys might not be usable in the Amazon Video application, but the trackpad portion of the keyboard will work. This is the case with the Sony TV I tried; the trackpad worked, and I was able to click to bring up the keyboard in Amazon Video and tap out using the trackpad what movie I wanted, and I was able to move and select from the movie thumbnails using the trackpad too. The alphanumeric keys on the keyboard did not work, because the Amazon Video application on the TV was not designed for this, but it might change in the future with an update perhaps. As of July 2016, only the trackpad portion worked in the Amazon Video application on the updated Sony TV. The Logitech Keyboard is nevertheless fairly essential for Smart TVs especially if you want to use Google apps including Youtube. It is irritating having to use a remote control for text, far better to use the keyboard. Of course, nowadays it is also possible to use your phone's YouTube app and then cast the video to the TV, so that saves on having to use the remote control for text entry as well.
