NRS Healthcare Wall Mounted Folding Shower Seat M53552 - Padded with Legs

Okay, i won't say much on the product, other than that it does what I intended it to do and feels decently made for the price. I bought this one after reading the reviews on here, it felt like a good one to go for. It is now installed and functions well. Speaking as very tall and well built man, i am no lightweight, so chose this model for it's decent weight loading.What i would like to mention, that in the description, it does say that this product does NOT come with wall fixings, because of the various types of wall construction. Read the product description before you buy! Since i did...I'll tell you what i used to attach this shower seat to my block-work type wall, which is more than sturdy enough to handle the weight loading of this seat.I bought 6 x 80mm M8 stainless steel hex headed coach screws, Type B flat M8 washers and 50mm long rawlplugs. I did have to ream out the six holes on the frame out to just larger than M8 size, hence the washers i also bought. I'm not looking to make it look nice and neat, i wanted to fix this seat good and proper with nice thick chunky coarse threaded fixings. Took me about an hour all in to install it, it takes a while to drill through ceramic tiles (i used spear headed masonry drill bits for this job), all went in fine, they will NOT come out! Oh, one other thing.....don't forget to put a bead of silicon sealant all around the back of the wall mount (around the tops of the mounting holes) before you screw home the seat. It will stop water getting behind and potentially causing problems in future, plus it helps bond the bracket to the wall as well.As for the seat, having carefully chosen my desired height position beforehand, it is comfortable and more than functional for its purpose.

Great shower seat comfortable to sit on , easy to install ,very sturdy , folds up against wall for extra room if not used.

I needed a seat that is high so I can just step off. This seat is just perfect for the taller person like me. I have poor balance due to very bad arthritis and I need to feel safe when getting.off chairs, most sre too.low for me. This seat is secure and safe and the quality is as expected for a company who supplies the nhs. 1st class, thank you very much, a happy safe customer.

I needed this chair as sometimes my back plays up badly. This seat is very comfortable and for me a godsend. Very sturdy and takes my weight with ease(and I’m not small).

Bought as a replacement. Very comfortable to sit down on. Very good and sturdy. Cheaper on amazon than other disability sites.

BEWARE. CHECK BOX WHEN DELIVERED MY HUBBY DIDNT so when came to fit NO Fixings in box and 3 days to late to return

Update: I have gone ahead and purchased one for myself. Can't fault it at all. Easy to install and comfortable to use.Bought this for my elderly parents and am very pleased with purchase. It was easy to install and has made a massive positive impact on my parents confidence when bathing. I have a problem with my back and I used it when I recently stayed with my parents. If needed you simply fold down, however, if you just want normal shower it is small enough that it does not take up much space. I am thinking of getting one for myself! I would happily recommend this product and seller ( NRS Healthcare )
