Why did you choose this product over others?: As a self-proclaimed DIY enthusiast and general fixer-upper, I've used my fair share of tapes, and let me tell you, Gorilla Tape Black 32m is in a league of its own. This isn't just "duct tape" – it's a heavy-duty, problem-solving, can't-live-without-it essential. From the moment you unroll it, you can feel the quality. The double-thick adhesive is no joke; it grips like nothing else, even on those awkward, uneven, or slightly rough surfaces where other tapes just give up. I've used it for everything from patching up a leaky shed roof to securing cables, reinforcing tools, and even making temporary repairs on outdoor gear. It handles it all with incredible tenacity. What truly sets it apart for me is its all-weather resilience. Living in the UK, we know all too well that the elements can be brutal. This tape shrugs off rain, wind, and even prolonged dampness without losing its incredible stick. I've had repairs hold strong through torrential downpours where lesser tapes would have peeled away within hours. The 32-metre length is also a massive bonus. You get a serious amount of tape, meaning you're not constantly running out mid-project. It's surprisingly easy to tear neatly by hand too, despite its robust nature, which saves time and fumbling for scissors. Honestly, if you need a tape that you can truly rely on for almost any repair, indoors or out, the Gorilla Tape Black 32m is worth every penny. It's a proper workhorse that delivers on its promises and then some. I wouldn't be without a roll in my toolkit now!

Simply the best at a good price. Seriously sticky, tough and thick and a good width and length. I find cheaper alternatives a waste of time.

Best duct tape I've found. Strong and waterproof. Despite its strength, it's also fairly easy to the from the roll (with your teeth! Come on, who doesnt use their teeth when using tape?!) It's also fairly easy to remove after being stuck, if necessary. I have been using this brand for years and wouldn't go back to any other! Great for holding things together and stopping leaks.

It is good and useful for many uses. However, the 'water proof' claim should be taken with a pinch of salt dependently on the application. I have used these product for many years now. The glue is strong and the backing is such that the tape will stick and bond to itself very well. If you are planning on applying several turns of it, you should end up with a quite solid result. However, my main use for this is keeping my canvas gazebo in acceptable shape (e.g. no leaks and rips). It did a very good job of fixing vertical ripsand even roof rips. You want to make sure to apply it when the canvas is nice and dry,and to apply it to both sides and pres. Little holes here and there have been fixed by application on just one side, and held well for years now. However, there are two problems: if you need to apply it to a flat porous surface which is wet, for instance, canvas during or too soon after a rain spell, you are out of luck. It will not stick at all. I can live with this as honestly, it would be nearly magic if it managed to do that. But, if you apply it to the same material bone dry, and only on one side,it will hold well. Until it rains and the material gets wet, then it will fall off. It might hold if it is not securing anything. If the material is non porous, like plastic sheets, it will hold just fine.

Very good, very useful. I've used it to repair or patch up so many items. Repaired a large heavy duty plastic plant pot that got a 6 inch slice cut in it by a strimmer. It's been about 3 years now sitting outside in all weathers with no sign of it coming off. Some slight lifting on edges only after 3years and having been carried and shunted around full of earth and tree - amazing! I also used clear version to repair a plastic watering can split in several different places again left outside with no sign of deterioration. I must say though when making this sort of repair it is essential to thoroughly clean/degrease the surface first. I mainly use acetone but other solvents, meths, etc also work. If applicable test solvents on an inconspicuous place to be on safe side. So many other uses and solutions to problems. E.g. holding stuff together while gluing.

I use this tape for EVERYTHING and I mean everything. If you need something stuck down permanently, this is your best friend. The adhesive is insanely strong, it grips like crazy and once it’s on, it’s ON. I’ve used this for all kinds of things, even stuff you wouldn’t think of. Need to stick an extension lead under a desk? Done. Need a sleek black sign? I literally wrapped cardboard in this tape to create a smooth matte black look. I even use it to stick up posters (WARNING—it WILL rip your paint off so be careful with that one). It’s so versatile and durable and this particular roll is HUGE. When I first got a smaller roll I ran out quicker than expected so I upgraded to this and it’s definitely worth the price. It lasts forever and I’ve barely made a dent in it. ✔️ Pros • Super strong adhesive sticks like crazy • Massive roll lasts ages • Versatile - works on everything from DIY to quick fixes • Great value for the price ❌ Cons • Will rip paint off walls if not careful • Stickiness can be annoying but that’s the whole point • Loses some grip if left exposed to air too long This tape is a must have for DIY quick fixes and creative projects. This gorilla tape is great. I have bought many in the past. Needless to say I have it on subscription. I have great fun fixing, repairing and just being me I build things using this to stick and seal securely.
