Gerber Evo Multi Tool

A good solid bit of kit. All tools lock in place and all do what they should do. Knife blade is very sharp, Cross head screwdriver looked like it would not be very good but I have used it several times on different size screws and it does work well. It was slightly larger than expected but that is a bonus as it is very solid and fits in the hand well. The holder being nylon is adequate, but how long it will last I don’t know, only time will tell. All in all good value and quality for the money.

I’ve used this product for several years now and have taken it everywhere I go. It’s very handy to have in a pinch when there’s something you need to cut or screw.Have taken it on numerous weekends away to Dartmoor and used it rain when I’ve needed to.The blade still has an edge and the grips still have teeth after all these years which is a plus.Only issue I can see is the scissors sometimes slip off the spring rail and then you fail to cut. Other than that great product to have, would recommend.

I bought this for my dad as a Christmas present and he loved it. It has plenty of different tools. Great for camping or keep it in your car in case of any emergency. He loves it. It's good value for your money.

Needed a multi tool for my camera bag although I confess to using the bottle opener the most. This one does everything I need. It is extremely well made, very solid and weighty. It has 8 tools within the handles. I haven't used the serrated blades yet but the small scissor and screw drivers do their jobs well. Each of the tools locks into position when fully extended and can withstand a lot of force - I haven't had one slip or come unlocked. It does require both hands to close back the extended tool. One to push the slider which is quite stiff and not easy (hence 4 stars) and the other to move the tool.The handles fold over the pliers to make the whole tool quite small and compact. It comes with a canvas holder with a flip over top retained with a Velcro strip. This just sits in my bag but it does have a Belt loop if you want to carry it around on your person.It is a very good value product and unless I lose it I doubt I will ever need to buy a replacement.

This was one of those unecessary but good purchases. The price was dropped massively to a tenner for a day or so and spotted (what I expect was) the error on hotukdeals. Clicked on the link and hit buy.Arrived nicely packaged and included a canvas belt pouch thingie.Nice selection of tools. Can't comment on longevity since it was snaffled by my lad who loves to whittle and remake things.

Wow what a bargain on amazon sub fourteeen quid, superb quality by Gerber (friskars),comes with case. Item is quite heavy but clearly stated in the ad. Very nice to hold absolute quality and good plied mechanism. Yes the knife does “lock” be be aware re regs in your country ..

The tool itself is very good and lives up to all my expectations however the Gerber pouch is rubbish the Velcro doesn't hold the multi tool in very well. This caused me too loose the tool on 3 occasions. I have since discarded the tool holder and purchased a custom made one. Much nicer.

Always had Swiss army knifes in the past, but fancied this one but was not impressed.The pliers are sprung loaded but they are too wide apart to grip any thing unless you have long fingers.Some of the features are hard to open and some are too blunt to use correctly.You also have to have long finger nails to open some of the other features which is a problem, the scissors are the worst to open up and they only cut certain materials, paper is not one of them.Overall the build quality is there but would prefer sharper blades.

C'est un produit qui trouve une solution à chaque problème, pour les activités de plein air. J'ai besoin d'avoir une pince pour la pêcher le brochet, ciseau pour couper le fil et la tresse, pince coupante pour le bas de ligne en acier etc etc ... Un peu lourd mais avec un très bon rapport qualité prix.

Excellent product! For 26 dollars its a steal. Similar Leatherman knives will cost you upwards of 60 dollars but this is less than half the price.Has a nice weight to it, 2 blades and a saw, scissors, 2 sizes of flat head and a Philips head. All made with great quality and lubrication. Bought this knife because a friend had it and i needed a good knife and this ones price vs performance ratio is through the roof.Would recommend big time.
