AtariMeroncourt BIO-MB221005ATA Messenger Bag with Japanese Logo, Red (Crimson Red)

This is a great bag – exactly the same layout as another bag I had from Eastpak – zip pocket on the front flap which secures with two pop-clasps, large main compartment with a zip all around the outside to increase the width of the main compartment; another zip inside the main compartment with a good size pocket. It also has two unsealed pocket areas (don’t put anything valuable in there!) under the flap and a Velcro big pocket on the back of the whole pack – which sort of divides it in two. Great for shoving winter gloves or hats in! As I said, very very close to the Eastpak design – but quite a bit taller / deeper, which is nice. And, to top it all off, the retro Japanese Atari logo and colour are great – the colour is a muted, understated maroon – funky and stylish. Bought this as an over-the-shoulder hand-luggage bag for short trips, but think I may end up using it all the time for work. Also, very quick delivery from bioworld. Recommended.

I am on my second one of these bags, the first lasted about 4 years and I loved it so much I had to replace it. Easily carries a laptops, tablets, etc. Feels good quality and while not waterproof is sturdy and secure enough I never worry about my belongings in the rain.

Good quality exactly as described

Everything is as described. The plastic parts are best replaced by carabiners as described in other reviews (don't go cheap here), the rest looks fine and there's a lot of room. It really is big.My only complain would be that the main compartment has no closing system, so it remains "open". The fourth photo actually shows an inside pocket closed by a zip, not the closing system of the main compartment.Because of this, the edges of the bag might go passed the top flap, so a thieve could get access to the inside - water or dust as well.There's an additional zip underneath to extend its size.To make it really perfect you can:- replace the plastic parts with metal ones (minimum recommended)- use a waterproof spray on the outside to make it more water resistant- add sticky velcro pieces on the inside top pocket to have a rudimentary closing system

The bag itself is really very good with good lined fabric, plenty of pockets and a nice retro style. The strap lugs are, as other reviewers have said, flimsy and one was already snapped when I unpacked the bag. However I had read M&M's review and had already lined up some Sturme carabineer clips (see photo). Bit of a faff to fit but once through the tabs they make a good and much needed upgrade (repair in my case). Would give it 5 stars but it really is unacceptable to receive a product with this type of fault.

This is the 2nd time I've bought this item. The 1st time it got stolen out of the cloakroom at a club. Good size, nice design, stands out.
