Hagen Fluval Chi Ii Aquarium Set, 19 Litre

This is my third fish tank over the last 10 years. It has to be the best so far. I thought in the past it best to get a simple tank and add the other bits separately like the filter, heater, aerator etc. Having gone through a few filters and what with all the wires I decided to buy something a bit more "all in one". Admittedly I have not had this tank for long but it has not disappointed. I have had to add in a heater as my fish are tropical but the filter and lights are built in along with a waterfall to give some extra oxygen in the water. So I now only have two wires going to the tank which is much neater. The sound of falling water make it very relaxing as well.The lid provided should give it some protection from evaporation and the tank is tall enough for standard heaters to fit which the old tank wasn't. You can switch off the lights if you want to but there is always a light on illuminating the fountain from the filter. To replace the filter or just give it a clean you just need to remove the lead from the plug, slide the filter up and off the side of the tank and remove the parts from underside.All in all a very attractive tank which has pretty much everything you need to get going. You will need a heater as mentioned and I used some decorative stones and a couple of ornaments to brighten it up. Finally some fish of course! You can see the picture attached (if it comes out the right way up!).Before I purchased this tank I went to my local pet supermarket but left with nothing as their options seemed cheaply made and much more expensive. At £60 this tank is brilliant and I hope it lasts. No doubt as with all tanks (all pets for that matter) there will be some maintenance to do but that's normal. I noticed that the filter sponges etc. were all available from Amazon which I will be purchasing soon.

This is very pretty. My son loves it! Lid doesn't seem to fit too well though which is a shame and the light part at the top doesn't light up the tank at all. Still quite a nice tank though!

Fantastic tank, ideal size and looks great, easy to set up and you can add your own touch to it as well, we had a slight problem when the LED lights failed to work after 6 weeks, a email was sent explaining the problem and within a couple of days they sent us a brand new filter/light unit as a replacement, that's what I call great service. highly recommended

i would like to start but just saying delivery was next day with prime and as it said it arrived.This tank is gorgeous in every way so simple to set up, I haven't added anything to it yet just needed rinsing so I filled it to check there were no leaks and it was running fine.i wasn't disappointed I also ordered the little tree fountain to add to the top. Now I have red a review on this the lady explains the flow was not as good so she added a pipe line. Now my started off second to none lots of pressure through the top ornament then I emptied half the tank to just. Add more to make sure there is no dust or nothing to affect it before continuing well after doing this I switched pump back on and low and behold I now know what the lady was saying the pressure had dropped I could see the flow but could not hear it... But I had done lots of research on this tank before the purchase and all that is needed should this happen to anyone (it can happen when changing filters also) remove the lid and tilt the pump to the left anti clockwise and return to middle this may need doing a couple of times. It occurs when it had been switched off as the pump drains it sometimes causes an air lock. It's so simple to remedy and as soon as it's done the pressure is high again honestly I red all this before I even ordered it but thought I would pass the info on for anyone else who as this problem. And to finish off this is best little nano tank ever I've had several I still own a fluvel edge but this def looks the best of all the tanks I wished I could of purchased the 25 litre but I tried everywhere no one as it. So not sure why. Anyway now I've bored you all to death I'll leave you alone if your thinking of a aquarium don't look any further this is top notch👍🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had this tank for just over 3 weeks and woke up this morning and the filter is broke and my fish are getting really stressed out! Its making a really loud noise and pushing loads of air into the tank which it didn’t do before it’s like it’s really struggling I have a Betta fish and he has started turning sideways because of this I’m really upset as have to go and get a new tank and re cycle the whole thing which is very long and the fish kinda need it right now so do not buy this tank from Amazon as I seriously regret it now also it’s very complicated to clean out as the filter is right in the middle so can’t get in the tank properly to clean it and my shrimp have also escaped numerous times they keep climbing up the stupid filter and literally jumping out on to the floor! Also seller was threatening me after I received a full refund from Amazon as seller refused so very unprofessional

with mix reviews i took a chance of getting it. its a nice tank and i live the sound of the water i added pebbles over the fountain to give it a little some thing. but i don’t know if i would get this again as the filter is not that good. so think before you rush in to getting it and maybe do research
