Ideal for all my labelling needs.
I have one of the older types of these, the type that embosses the letters into the plastic tape. It was getting a bit long in the tooth and I wanted something a bit easier to use, and also that used labels that were easier to read. The LetraTag I find is very easy to use, and there are two main parts where you access the settings. One is the actual settings button, that allows you to set the contrast of the print out text, size of the text. Another is the format button, which allows you to set the style of the text (italic, bold, normal) and also in here is the option to have a two line print out on the label.I have used this to print out some labels to stick on the many plugs around my desk, and also where my TV unit is. My girlfriend is into crafting and she will also have some use of the LetraTag with her crafting. To use the Dymo LetraTag is very easy and installing the printing reel takes seconds and clicks into place with a positive click. It has a clear and legible LCD screen and you can see exactly what is going to be printed, before hitting the print button. One little complaint I have, is with the keyboard. It is not your usual familiar QWERTY key layout, and instead is arranged in an ABCDEF arrangement. I found myself trying to type on it and expecting to find the key I was wanting where I was placing my finger (as I am used to typing on a QWERTY keyboard, with using Smartphone, Tablet, computer keyboards) and found it took longer to type the text out than what it would have if the keyboard was arranged in a QWERTY key layout. Perhaps Dymo you could amended this model and have the keys arranged in a QWERTY key layout, as the vast majority of UK users will be most familiar with this keyboard arrangement. The keys I found looked a bit dated, and they are chunky and they do protruding a bit and also they are made of rubber, rather than the plastic keys we see on physical keyboards nowadays.Once you have decided on what size the text is going to be, what style, you then press the print button. I was surprised how quiet and quickly the Dymo LetraTag printed out the label. Once the label has finished printing, you press the trigger like button on the right handside, and this will cut the label. The label has a perforated line on the back and I found the easiest way to remove the backing, was to gentle fold the label along it's length and you then see the backing separate in it's two half's, and you then are able to stick the label onto whatever you desire. I found the print quality to be very good indeed, and was extremely happy with the results. You are able to purchase different materials in the range of printing reels, and the one included with the Dymo LetraTag is a paper label, white background black text. But you are able to purchase plastic labels that come with a white background and black text, as well as a multitude of other colours that are available in this plastic label format.I do have a complaint with the ridiculous plastic packaging that the LetraTag comes in. It is far too much plastic, it needs scissors or a knife to cut it open, the edges of the plastic are sharp. Dymo, why the hell don't you not put this product in a card box.Not much else to say, apart from this is a really handy product, that gives excellent results, and hopefully will last for years to come.

Perfect for what I wanted
I want to label electric cables, so the white paper with black text was the way to go. The cartridge came with the device and after putting batteries in and some ultra simply setting up I was ready to print. Absolute piece of cake. The label has a think line cut on the back too so getting the backing paper off is simple. Also if anyone remember the plastic tape where letters were stamped into it you will remember how dire the adhesive was on them. These are much, much better and the quality of print is excellent. A backlight would have been the icing on the cake but absolutely not a deal breaker. I am over the moon with this.

Decent unit
Can be a bit slow when scrolling through the selection of symbols needed, but when you get used to it, its a good bit of kit. Label rolls are cheap too, ideal if you make loads of tags

Ease of use and effectiveness
I absolutely love this thing!I bought this label making machine so I can organise things for art and crafts and also around the house generally. It was extremely easy to start it off, inserting the paper casette, and the batteries, and then off I went. Labelling anything that wasnt nailed down! Brilliant piece of kit and fits ok in the hand rather than its larger version which I returned as my hand wasnt wide enough to hold it comfortably.

Great machine and makes labels for clothes possible, easy and quick
I've always had a dymo label machine as I love to be organised. I had one of the embossing ones but they didn't work well so I got a qwerty plug in one and have happily labeled as much as possible in my house. I needed to label clothes for a care home and I purchased personalised labels then I thought dymo do iron in labels so I went on a search and found out I needed an alternative machine so I got this one and iron in labels. They options for label designs are great and there would be a design for everyone. It's easy to Store labels you will need more in the future. The sizes are great so you can use the labels on many different items and sizes. The iron on labels are great and easy to read. Definitely recommend this if you love labels or need clothes labels for schools or care homes.

Super easy to use
Was a bit difficult to get out of the packet, almost took a finger off! If you don't have a good pair of scissors you might want to order a pair at the same time as buying this. The difference between the Lt-100H and the Lt-100H plus is that the plus comes with a holder that you can either screw to a wall or use magnets in the holder to stick to a metal surface. Not sure that I will use this but I understand that it comes with 2 tape cassettes (white paper & black on transparent plastic) instead of 1 that you get with the LT100H and for the additional £1 it's worth getting the plus. It takes 4 AA batteries (not supplied). It comes with very straight forward instructions and is easy to create labels immediately. The cutter has been reliable so far (unlike past Dymo's I've tried) and has a nice straight cut. Created all the labels I needed (about 30) within 15-20 minutes. The Dymo tape is good quality and it's easy to get the backing off by folding it ever so slightly lengthways and peeling it off in 2 strips from the middle (there is a cut down the centre of the whole length of the tape). The labels stick well as long as I'm careful not to touch the adhesive too much. Keyboard keys are not QWERTY with was a little off putting but soon got to grips with it. The keys are light blue with black letters are a perfectly visible. There are lots of extras like underline, borders, a small number of emojis, etc. that are very easy to access using the table in the enclosed instructions. Overall, easy and fun to use. Looking forward to making more labels, must hide it from the kids before they get back from school!!
