No lipsync issues. Seamless connecting when powering on devices.
Using this because Sony can't get their act together with the Bluetooth on thier even most up to date TVs. Sony TV will only support certain sets of Bluetooth Headsets. I presume this is so they can gain more revenue from people who buy their TVs by forcing them to go Sony only. So I did this. And I had the same problems with their supported products namely, only being able to connect once. Once I disconnected the headphones, or turned off the TV to sleep, I had to reboot the TV to enable a new connection, terrible Bluetooth range, TV Bluetooth signal was destroying Bluetooth signals from my NVidia Shield and other devices. This Trond solved all those issues, I now have BT turned off on the TV and unpaired my new Sennheiser HD 4.50s from the Shield. Now I can sway to and from shield and TV seamlessly. I can't hear any delay in lipsync, and, there is a significant reduction is noise that I was experiencing before. Now if you put your headphones on and turn up the TV sound at the same time you can hear some kind of delay but its damn close. Personally I am not using APT X Low latency, just standard APT X and its damn good, I cannot visually see a delay. When I power on my headphones it connects instantly. Don't have to do anything. Also, the quality is excellent, I've only used Digital Optical from TV. If there was one single picky issue I could comment on it would be the fact you can't unable the blue flashing light on the unit when nothing is connected which was disturbing at night. Solved by a piece of black tape. Also, I imagine there will be a delay with 'truely' wireless because truely isn't for Audio Visual uses.

Very good but not plug-and-play for me
I use the product to be able to be able to listen to my Panasonic TV on my wireless bluetooth headphones (Sony WH-1000XM3). I have not used it as a Bluetooth receiver. I have plugged it in to the headphone jack, not optical, and a spare USB socket on the TV for power. Build quality, size, look and feel are all good. I have been very impressed with the audio quality and stability as well as range at least in my set-up and there is no perceivable delay that I am observing. Therefore, when it's connected and up and running, I could not ask for more, it's brilliant for what I need it for.The only downside is that at least in my set-up, the product is not plug-and-play. I have to go through re-pairing every time I use it with the headphones which works fine and pairing is quick and now that I'm used to it, this is not a problem for me. I have not investigated the issue extensively as I don't need to, but I suspect that this is due to the fact that my wireless headphones are also paired with my mobile phone and iPad which may cause a conflict and take priority over the Bluetooth transmitter somehow. I can work around it so not a big deal for me.Overall I'm happy with the product and the price I paid is reasonable in my opinion. There are cheaper and more expensive alternatives around but for me this was a good choice.

Excellent product, good value and very easy to use
I bought this some time ago. It's connected to a Panasonic TV and I use Bose QuietComfort headphones to connect to it with Bluetooth. It's powered from the USB port on the TV and connects automatically when I turn the headphones on. Great sound - excellent product. When I turn the headphones and TV off, I also switch off the Trond and vice versa when I switch them all on again.

The latency.
A nice compact unit offering the choice of receive and transmit of Bluetooth. Looks a quality item and very compact.I bought this hoping I could take the audio from an arranger keyboard and live sound from a midi linked computer, and send that to Bluetooth headphones.Sadly the latency of this item is still too much to allow someone to play a keyboard and expect the sound to instantly reach the headphones. Indeed, there is such a noticeable delay that it prohibits this type of use.I purchased some new expensive headphones with the latest spec bluetooth tech, but still the latency remains to high. The actual audio quality is terrific. No issues there for sure. But if you think there is negligible latency that you won't notice if playing an instrument through this unit, think again. Don't do it. Continue to use wired headphones.Otherwise, for watching video media or just music, this unit is fine.

Helps the hard of hearing watch TV with friends and family
I bought this item after recommendation to be able to hear the TV during lockdown as I am hard of hearing and am awaiting hearing aids. I needed something that would transmit to existing headphones, and allow the TV to continue to transmit audio through the TV speakers so my partner could hear normally. This item does exactly what I need it to, and worked very easily straight out of the box. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. It was also good value at £30. I can recommend this product to anyone struggling to hear the TV with your friends or family. Just make sure you have the correct headphones to avoid the sound lag and you follow the instructions for the correct set up of your TV sound settings.
