Pelikan Fountain Pen Ink 4001

I bought this bottle of Pelikan royal blue ink to use in my trusty old Sheaffer fountain pen, and it writes very smoothly, with the ink drying suitably fast. The colour is beautiful. I like the shape of the bottle, allowing one to tip it stably at about 70 degrees from the vertical in order to access the remaining liquid when it's getting low. My only regret is I would prefer a 50ml not 30ml bottle, as I will use it up too quickly! I rate 5 stars.

An excellent blue fountain pen ink that shows well flows excellently in use and cleans easily. Would recommend for daily use.

Worked perfectly and with the anticipated colour opacity in my Pelikan fountain pen - old enough to be labelled "W Germany". Surprisingly expensive, however, being about half the volume of the original bottle it was to top up.

Pelikan inks are known to be slow-flowing and dry-writing making them ideal for those fountain pens that tend to be slightly too generous with their ink usage; broad and italic nibs are typical of the trait. The ink is a true blue, lacking any black, green or other colour tones. It is darker than a royal blue but not quite a midnight blue, perhaps more like a French navy. The bottle is not over-filled so spillage on the immersion of a pen is very unlikely but the caps are very tightly screwed down and may need a strong hand to loosen. A nice colour that would be ideal for normal personal use, for note-taking as it is inherently very legible, and for anything else. It is substantially different than and could easily replace royal blue which is the 'standard' blue from most brands.

La más popular tinta de Pelikan, posiblemente la más vendida y hay razones convincentes para ello: + Es un color bonito tanto en trazos muy húmedos como en difusos o secos. No cansa y es elegante, puedes usarlo en la escuela, en el trabajo, ... + El comportamiento de esta tinta es perfecto en multitud de plumas,....fluye con regularidad , se seca rápido, desliza muy bien el plumín,....cuando tengo problemas con una pluma uso esta tinta para comprobarlo todo, porque es infalible. + - Una cualidad que produce un defecto es que se puede lavar muy bien con agua y jabón, pero eso hace la tinta muy poco resistente a la humedad....No es la tinta con la que debes firmar las escrituras de tu finca :D o documentos oficiales, ni para perfilar tus acuarelas - Es económica y siempre hay existencias,....no es una exótica tinta del Lejano Oriente, América o las antípodas que aparece un mes a la venta a precio de sangre de unicornio. Es la tinta perfecta para el día a día, hay envases para todos los gustos, cartuchos internacionales, tinteros, botellas,....este tintero de 30 ml es perfecto, la forma no es muy original pero permite apoyarlo de lado para cargar mejor cuando está vaciándose, y se puede probar la tinta mojando la punta en el huequecito del centro del tapón con un pincel o un plumín caligráfico. Si no me dejaran usar más que una tinta, esta sería la elegida sin duda

Ich habe kürzlich das Pelikan 301010 Tintenglas in der Farbe Königsblau erworben und bin restlos begeistert. Das Produkt verdient meiner Meinung nach volle 5 Sterne. Die Tinte befindet sich in einem eleganten Glasbehälter, was nicht nur für eine ansprechende Optik, sondern auch für eine einfache Handhabung sorgt. Besonders schätze ich die Tatsache, dass es sich um ein 30-ml-Glas handelt, was für eine erfreuliche Menge an Schreibsessions reicht. Ich benutze die Pelikan-Tinte in Verbindung mit meinem LAMY Füller, der über einen Konverter verfügt. Das Aufziehen der Tinte gestaltet sich dabei denkbar einfach, und die Kombination von Pelikan und LAMY erweist sich als wahre Traumpaarung. Die Tinte fließt geschmeidig und gleichmäßig auf das Papier, ohne dabei zu klecksen oder zu verschmieren. Der königsblaue Farbton ist intensiv und klar, genau so, wie ich es mir gewünscht habe. Er verleiht meinen geschriebenen Worten eine klassische und doch lebendige Note. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist die problemlose Entfernbarkeit der Tinte mit einem Tintenkiller. Das erleichtert nicht nur das Schreiben, sondern auch das eventuelle Korrigieren von Fehlern. Hier zeigt sich die Qualität der Pelikan Tinte, die nicht nur für ein ästhetisches, sondern auch für ein funktionales Schreiberlebnis steht. Insgesamt bin ich äußerst zufrieden mit dem Pelikan Tintenglas. Die hohe Qualität, die einfache Handhabung und die beeindruckende Farbintensität machen diese Tinte zu meiner klaren Empfehlung für alle, die Wert auf ein exzellentes Schreiberlebnis legen.
