Excellent deep fat fryer and great value for money.The size is perfect for one or two, its sturdy and fits in my kitchen very well.

This fat fryer goes together very easily and it comes apart the same way.put 2.5 ltrs of cooking oil in perfect height and set the heat dial chips came out golden and crispy 👌when it comes time 2 change the oil this will b si easy everything can b taken away so u can lift the oil container out and just pour it the old oil away .This gets top marks Very Highly recomend this fryer.😃👍

Writing a review after 7 and half years owning this quest fryer.and guess what ,,we,ve still got it.and it's still working flawlessly.easy clean and the electrics and heating oil element still performing brilliantly.its used regularly.its a gem.a true work horse it's been..it's a superb product.well worth every penny.buy this everybody.after 7/ half years there's your evidence..don't hesitate get it. Great. safe & easy to use, heats up very quickly does homemade chips perrrfect 😋, good quality & sturdy size is good if you only have small space in your kitchen, easy to pickup and move as handles at eachside. Worth the money would recommend 😀

1st class fryer!

I absolutely love this fryer like you wouldn't believe. Before this came into my life, most of my adult life involved cooking chips in the oven. Just not the same. I still remember my younger days when my dad home made the chips and put them in the fryer. It just couldn't be beaten but once I got my own place and being so safety conscious I never bought my own and oven chips it was for the next 15 plus years. I then decided to live a little and bought a chip pan to put on hob. But still the chips were not coming out nice and it was only enough to cook for 2 people.So I decide to go for the plunge and bought this and at such a good price too. I almost didn't buy it due to reviews about issues with the handle but I have had no issues with mine. It is secure, safe and stable. Maybe they are not putting them on correctly? I can cook 3-4 portions in this fryer. It all depends on how big you like your portions though. For a family of more than 4 I would say get a bigger fryer if you want your food all at the same time. It heats up real quick. I use 3 litres of vegetable oil in this fryer. It has a min and max line inside the fryer to help you get the measurement right. And the chips are great. I cook them at 170 and the chips come out real crispy just how we like them in 5-7 minutes. My daughter had her fussy friend over recently for dinner who is even fussy over chips but she said they are better chips then McDonald`s and for her to say that is an achievement in itself and she is now going to try and get her oven chip cooking mum to buy this now. Easy to clean and one of my best purchases this year.

Having been an Amazon customer for more years than my bank balance would like, this purchase is the worst I have ever bought. The Quest 3 Litre Stainless Steel Deep Fat Fryer has left me with one Quest, throwing it out although I only received it 10 days ago. I look after elderly parents who prefer chips from deep fat fryer than oven or air, so I went onto Amazon and purchased the Quest 3 Litre Stainless Steel Deep Fat Fryer. When it arrived, I took it out of the box and first impression ‘not very sturdy but it is fine for using once a week’ I cleaned all parts as per instructions, filled it with fresh oil and went to use it on Friday 23rd of May. I ended up having to drive four miles to local chip shop – not impressed. This evening, 30th of May took out Deep Fat Fryer and turned and double checked that all parts were correctly in place, and once again no chips. In my opinion I think the name, Quest, really is a good play on words as my quest was to cook chips though now, I question the product. As I live in the republic of Ireland, I am not going to the expense of returning the fryer. It is bad enough I paid for a non-working product; I am certainly not paying for return; it is heading for recycling centre first thing Tuesday morning. If, like me, your quest is to purchase a deep fat fryer, I would urge you to keep looking, I had Tefal before, two of them, and I never had any issues with either. For that extra outlay on a trusted brand name, make that your quest. As you will see from photo, I have an orange power light but no green light for working. Sorry Quest, I would be recommending your deep fat fryer to anyone one, hence the one star and if there was an option to rate it a minus I would.
