Bought to use while on holiday in case of flat battery! It was very compact - ideal if you're limited for car space. We ended up using it to charge phones etc while we were away camping. But it does work well to jump start even a large diesel battery too, it's an essential part of our travel kit now. Comes with a case to protect it.

I toyed with the idea of having one of these as an emergency back up. After days of researching and reading many reviews I made the massive mistake of opting for this. Shonky crap piece of kit. All the reviews where good so I order it. It arrived. With in days and was packed well. I opened it charged as per the instruction book then placed it in my boot hoping I would not need it. Then yesterday. The inevitable happened. Always when you in a rush running late. And got a million things to do. Car won't start turn key and click click click, a few swear words later I think. I know I can use my brand new. Beatit booster to help me on my way. I scan the book on jumping a battery so neg to neg pos to pos then turn on the booster and plug the connector into the beatit. Display shows 100% I then try to turn the key and. Click click click tried several times nothing display is now reading 97%. I try to connect it to the battery again and nothing. I just stood there in the pitch black freezing. Swearing. Thinking how I have just been robbed of the best part of sixty quid..Lucky for me some kind hearted motorist stopped and had jump leads so jumped me the old fashioned way so if like me you are reading these reviews considering one of these. Please don't. Save your self £50 and go by jump leads at least they work.And to just to confirm. Car was a 1.4 Astra. So god knows how they claim this will. Do upto a 5ltr engine. It is being sent back hopefully amazon will refund me.

Great portable bit of kit. It started my 2004 Subaru Impreza WRX. One star off however as I didn't see anywhere that said you had to press and hold the button on the 12V jump connector until you hear a click and the LED turns solid green

Had to jump start a flat battery on my 4x4 (on 2 occasions): Did the job great. It is very simple to use and all accessories look good. Also take less space in the car than jump start cables (and you don't need someone else car the day is needed).Cherry on the cake, can use as a power bank to charge iPads and phones. Good product.

Bought this for My Dad, When He needed to use it, IT FAILED !!I tried contacting the seller and NO reply!!Totally Disgusted with the lack of customer service and the product.

Seems to be holding its charge very well - bought it about 3 weeks ago and put it in the boot - still reading 100%The other reviews say it works well - I am hoping Idon't have to find out
