This less than $8 knife (2 pack) was a pleasant surprise with its overall quality. During the 3 months I've had it, it's has become the go to tool for many tasks such as opening envelopes, crafts, automotive uses, and especially opening packages. It's 60mm closed size makes it convenient to attach it to keychains, packs, purses, or to stick in a pocket. I appreciate the ease of opening and closing, and the safety of the blade's liner lock. This knife's stainless blade is really sharp, and the stainless body looks great.I find that this knife is often chosen first, over a pocket knife or multi tool.I highly recommend this product!

I have improved my rating for excellent customer service!I bought 2 of these to try out before ordering more. Those 2 were great. I excitedly ordered 20 more as gifts for the holidays. The first one I opened had rusty spots on the handle. That means I had to open and inspect all 20.Out of those 20, 3 had rusty spots. 5 of them did not fully engage the lock when opened and need an extra push to lock open (see video). It may lock once you put pressure into cutting something but if you're just opening an envelope or cutting tape on your Amazon box that might not be enough pressure to push the blade back enough to lock. I got these knives specifically for the lock feature as it is a safety issue for the user. I am not sure if I feel comfortable gifting these ones or the rusty ones. Especially if there is a false sense of security that you think it's locked when it may not be.The things I like about them is that they are a small, compact keychain size, and come with a key ring attached. I like the thumb knob that allows for easy, one-handed opening. I like that they lock open (most of them on the first try at least). I also like that they are sharp. I had planned to sharpen them before gifting them but I don't think I need to. They don't feel flimsy at all. The price is nice, maybe I am expecting too much from a $5 pocket knife.If I had based my review on the first two I got it would have been 5 stars but since several of them don't lock reliably and a few others had rusty spots, I had to drop it down. 12 were great but 8 out of 22 products were a little disappointing.

I really like the size, I carry it on my keys! Good material, is sharp and easy to open.

[New UPDATE] Bought a 2nd one just to have a spare and it operates much easier than the first one, so now I'm really loving this little pocket fingernail. Open and close is much improved.[Previous UPDATE] The more I use it the more I like it. It's a great tool! Not the best design, is a little hard to open and kinda hard to close. Feared I might cut myself at first during either action. Blade is very sharp as it should be. Scary sharp trying to open or close it, especially closing it.I bought this "BARRYSAIL Mini Keychain Knife" and a "Smith & Wesson Drive 3.25in S.S. Folding Keychain Knife" at the same time because I didn't know if I would like either one. The BARRYSAIL is definitely a nicer design Also high quality so I recommend it over this Smith & Wesson Drive Knife. The BARRYSAIL has a much more comfortable handle. Who ever uses a bottle opener these days anyway?? Avoid the Smith & Wesson. BARRYSAIL Mini Keychain Knife is a real keeper!!

I want to start off by saying that I love smaller knives. The Kershaw Chive or the Gerber Mini Fast-Draw are pretty much the perfect size for me. I prefer one-handed knives that either have a thumb stud or a flipper, so I figured this would be great for a keychain, replacing a fairly basic Victorinox that I've been carrying.Sadly, the action is too tight, and the knife is so small and thin that I can't grip it properly to open it one handed. It's tight and gritty, which honestly I expected for a cheap knife like this, but I hate that I have to use it two-handed. I'm going to end up sticking with the Victorinox for now.
