Q: Are pesticides or fungicides or chemicals used in growing these leaves?

Good question - on the bottle it merely states that production methods involved with this product are non-GM. Made in Australia by Comvita the labeling states "Australian sourced and imported ingredients" going on to state that their products are made from the highest quality ingredients - and if one has concerns to contact them. Obviously this doesn't answer your queries and I can only suggest you email them directly to find the answers - their email is info@comvita.com and their webpage is www.comvita.com. Their UK telephone number is 01628 779 460. I do hope you get clarity.

I would email Comvita for their advice first rather than throw it away , I have emailed them before. It is a very good product and "best before" normally means you can still use it after that date.

The liquid is not the same. Comvita Olive Leaf is freshly picked from our own farms in Australia, extracted and bottled the same day. We do not know the process for other producers of Olive Leaf extract.

Q: Does this product clear sinuses and the Eustachian tube please?

because its anti viral and antibacterial it may help with these indirectly- not sure and it does not claim anything on the bottle about the sinuses or anything other for that matter but I expect with all things once you tackle the source of the problem such as bacteria and viruses then other issues have a way of correcting - try inhaling eucalyptus/menthol in a large bowl of hot with a towel for 15 minutes or so you can get the menthol granules or menthol inhalant to put in water - sorry cant be more helpful - I just find Comvita a good product if I am not sure if I have a bacterial or viral infection, it helps to detoxify the body gradually but affectively in my opinion.
