These are pretty good pads.The very lightweight, but durable.The dog cannot scratch the upper surface, so quite tough.Fairly absorbent, and does not leak through the back layer,.And they lie pretty flat too, which is important if they are close to an opening door.

I ordered this pack of puppy pads large, not for a dog but actually for 2 other uses. First one is pur old cat is now 16 and a bit senile. He can't always hold his bladder or bowel so we pop one of these pads down and he goes on that. It is a great pad for absorbency and a good size so he does not miss aim. I recommend this product for anyone who has a puppy kitten senior cat, and even rabbits which brings me to my next use. I have 7 orphaned baby rabbits which I have in an indoor hutch in.my bedroom. We have used these pads in the bottom of their hutch just 1 fits into a 140mm long hutch. All I do it roll it all up and dispose of . It works great and absorbs all the urine of 7 bunnies and poops. So these pads come in handy for not just dogs but for cats rabbits etc. They are so easy to open and pop where you need the.. the thickness is good to absorb alot of fluid, it makes cleaning up so easy . For the age range of this product I would say there is not one as as I said my baby rabbits use them as does out old senior cat, he does not like a litter tray so these are perfect for him. They are versatile for lots of uses and animals. They are extra large so much better for price value and quantity as I use 1 of these to my usual 3 of the other size. Give them a try you will be glad you did.

Highly recommend these pads, & my old dog, who cannot make it outside in time as we live in a tower block with no balcony, is so used to these now.The only thing I am uncertain about is the lavender - every time he uses a pad he always really licks his paws for ages afterwards, and I dont know if it could be the pads? They are brilliant and I dont want to have to change, but they dont do all day unscented ones 😥

Nice size, used for all sorts of things not just for dog, used under buckets or paint tins to protect the floor. Really strong, doesn’t leak though

This is the second time I have ordered this pack of pads as they are very useful when you have animals and especially if you have many they can be a real stress reliever as they soak up any accidents quickly taking away that stress of what to do about the smell in the carpet etc, as I'm sure most pet owners can empathise with :)I used these when I had a new puppy to train him to go on, which he did pretty much straight away and they soak up a lot without leaking through at all, it depends on the size of your dog but if you have a puppy/small dog as I did then they can be used more than once, saving the hassle/expense of changing them after every use.I also use them under my cats litter tray as one of my cats tends to wee right on the edge of the tray getting it onto the floor underneath so these are a life saver for that too, they soak up the wee and the odour and again don't have to be changed every time.One more use I have recently used them for is muddy paws in the car which can take away the need to clean the car mats every time you take the dog out and they get muddyAll in all these pads are great and so useful to have around the house

My cat has recently had surgery, and is on cage rest. I bought these pads and the smaller version to line the bottom of her cage, and they've been amazing. There have been a few accidents, and because the pads have a waterproof bottom, I've just had to roll them up and replace them. So much easier than newspaper, which soaks through. Much nicer for my cat, too, she likes the soft surface of the pads and has been lying on them. The pads have definitely made the cage rest much easier - I highly recommend them!

These training pads quickly became part of the daily routine, and for the most part, they’ve held their own admirably.The absorbency is genuinely impressive. They soak up little accidents swiftly and with gusto, leaving minimal odour and less mess than I dared hope. Compared to the newspaper method (which I briefly attempted in a fit of misguided frugality), these pads are a revelation—less soggy, less smelly, and considerably less likely to stick to paws and end up shredded across the living room like confetti.Size-wise, they’re spot on for small dogs or puppies still mastering bladder diplomacy. My furry companion treated them like a personal target range, and they held up reasonably well, even under repeated daily use. When they perform properly—and most do—they save your floors and your sanity in equal measure.Now, the caveats. A small percentage of the pads do seem to have missed the memo when it comes to waterproof backing. On a few occasions, I’ve discovered an unfortunate puddle lurking beneath a seemingly clean pad—an unwelcome surprise if you're in socks. Thankfully, these leaky ones are the minority, but they do crop up and mildly undermine your faith in the product.Still, when purchased in a large box rather than the smaller packets, they represent considerably better value. You get more for your money, and let’s be honest—if you’re in the midst of puppy training, you’re going to need quantity as well as quality.So, in summary: these pads are absorbent, affordable (especially in bulk), and more reliable than a paper-based alternative. They’re not without the odd rogue defector, but they’ve made life with a puppy that little bit cleaner, and that’s worth applauding. Or at the very least, not scrubbing.
