Our daughter had the brilliant idea to fiddle and remove the existing protective film from her, partly glass covered, clothing cupboard doors. She didn’t realise that several years ago it had cost me a lot of measuring effort to put the film in place. And that it was there to protect from breaking glass, even though it was attached to safety glass.So we had to look for some replacement film and these flower motifs she selected actually pleased her more than the previous milk glass film.Once more, measuring and cutting the strips to size was the most time consuming part. Then you’ll have to clean the glass and keep it wet to apply the film. Its reasonably straightforward from there. As long as there is still some water under the strip you‘ll be able to centre and adjust it. I always use a 50 cm sturdy metal ruler to push the remaining water and air bubbles to the sides and out.I had to buy 2 rolls, so it wasn’t a cheap replacement. But quite pleased with the results. And our daughter finds it a great upgrade to her room. Perhaps the only small drawback I would point to is that apart form the flower patterns its quite transparent.

I didn't expect this to cling. I don't expect any of the non adhesive ones to cling. So I've done it with craft mount spray. However it's a beautiful design, is different from the designs of everyone else. And I love it. I bought for glass in 2 doors and a bathroom window and it looks good. Quite expensive in fact as far as window cling goes. It comes with great backing which is lined and graphed and there is plenty on the roll for these two small jobs. I'm looking for other places to stick it now. I'm pleased :)

Really easy to use-all you need is sissors to cut to size, something to mist your glass with water, and a squeegee-took longer to measure and cut it than to install it!!I put this on my front door and I love it-the light still comes in, but total privacy. Pattern looks fab and modern to.I looked everywhere for a cool 'modern' pattern(i am very particular!!) . Mini Moderns has a lovely designed film, but it is mega expensive-this was my next favourite, and the price was good. I had loads left over-you could easily get more than one window out of this!I am reviwing this a year after I put this up, and I have had zero problems with it!!

Used this in my front room and on backdoor, love it. Easy to put up, takes about 5 mins per window including time taken to wash window first. Doesn't cancel any light but blurs everything from outside - I have cacti on my windowsill and you can only just make them out. Great alternative to having net curtains and probably provides better privacy and you don't have any extra washing! Also used it to cover stainless steel convector fan over hob as couldn't keep it clean, this is much nicer to look at an easier to clean (but you will need clear silicon sealant to keep it on at edges due to the steam).

Got the item this morning, and based on previous reviews I thought to straighten it on the floor. After 12 hours, I washed windows and applied to window. Overall that wasn't hard, you have loads attempts, because you use just a water, no glue or anything else that might make the process harder. You can't see anything through this, maybe just a silluetes. Very happy customer.I don't like to cover my windows, because I love my room light, and also the pattern is very lovely.

So easy to do it is crazy. Used a car ice scraper tool (rubber blade bit) but would buy a proper squeegee for my next windows. Planning on doing several more rooms. This design is beautiful. Stops nosey parkers but doesn't cut out light. Ideal alternative to net curtains - really good if you are renting as no holes need to be drilled.

I had a very small window and door in need of privacy. But curtains or blinds wouldn’t have suited. So brought the film and looks great , very decorative and looks pretty from outside whilst giving privacy so job done
