Needed a small pump for regular water change in a 300litre ornamental goldfish pond. This pump is perfect for the job. Attached a 1metre pipe and funnel and it clears debris from the base of the pond efficiently. It works well with an 18v cordless drill. Can't speak for its long term durability yet, but so far delighted with the performance.

Used for removing excess water from dug hole, jig made for cordless drill, works a treat.

I've only used the pump twice and it's been good and easy two use. I've got it fixed on a small piece of wood. To make it better for fixing the drill into. I'm sure I'm going to find plenty uses

This pump has a lot of varying uses, and the ability to connect standard outdoor hose/tap fixings to the unit make it incredibly easy to alternate between jobs. This is installed as part of my outside tap and garden water feed pipework, and can be fixed to one of the posts near an outside tap. We have aproximately 100 metres of outdoor underground pipework used to feed various beds and taps, and to avoid any posibility of frost damage over the winter causing unknown leaks, we intend to drain the system. This pump makes light work of the job, simply connect to the outside tap nearest the isolator, open the pipework at the other end and fix a drill to this unit and start pumping. It fits easily to any drill cordless or otherwise and pumps a decent volume of water without any priming. Be aware there is a fair amount of grease inside the unit, and I would not advise using this to pump any kind of drinking water. If pumping dirty water, ensure that whatever pipework you connect to the inlet has a filter to prevent any large debris from entering the unit. Pros: Solid build quality No priming required Good flow rate (depending on power/speed of drill used) Cons: packed with grease, so unsuitable for pumping drinking water (without appropriate third party filters etc) Hose connectors not included, but as the pump is versatile for many uses, these would only be useful if your specific use involved these.

Had this for about a year now, and use it for emplying the last few litres out a hot tub. I left it this long to make sure it still works. Its a definite improvement on getting into the thing with buckets and sponges! I was dubious that this pump would cope, with about 2 metres of hose on the inlet side, and around the same on the outlet... with a vertical distance of approximately1.5 metres. But the power of this little fella is impressive ! Sure, its not going to do a massively quick job but if your expectations of a cheap plastic pump arent too ludicrous then you will be pleased with this. I have it mounted on a board and my battery operated power drill clamps into it .... so press the button (once you have primed it, dont forget!!) ..... aim the inlet hose into the remaining water, and watch it dissappear. I really like to find cheap ways of doing stuff .. and this ticks my "resourceful" box completely.

We used this to transport oil from tank to new tank and it only took 35 mins, 400-500 litres. A brilliant tool and so happy with it

This turned out to be an ideal little pump. I had to empty some water in an inspection pit and it worked really well. The drive power is supplied by your own electric drill, attached to the spindle of the pump, and it's a good system which keeps the price down. I took the advice to fix th pump to a board and this was very valuable advice. I needed a couple of wooden wedges to support the drill to the right height but that was easy. My only concern, and it's not really a criticism of the pump, is that it was not keen on pumping the water at the bottom where there was algae growing. Overall, a good purchase.

Not going product , it won’t pump if it above gravity so be careywhen buy it

Read the reviews and was skeptical. But for me it worked perfectly. Used it for pumping out water in the pipes going to and from the pool. So small volumes. Just connected standard gardening hose and my dewalt drilling machine. Saved me an hour of work not having my hands and cloths in cold water

Using for diesel. Pumps verry good. Time Will tell if it lasts when pumping diesel.
