Bought this for my Panasonic 4k Camcorder.The sound on this was ok, I could hear a lot of hissing in the background, even after changing the settings.Spend abit more and get a RODE

Every budding YouTuber/ videographer is faced with the huge dilemma of wanting amazing gear, but not having the budget for it when you're first starting out. We knew we needed a shotgun style mic, but didn't want to spend the money that a Rode would cost. After watching hours or videos and reading loads of reviews, we settled on the Takstar SGC-598 and I could not be more happy.There is a slight buzz, but for the cost of the mic, I would not expect a professional mic. This mic is easy to use! It easily mounts on the top of your camera and the battery lasts for ages. We have filmed hours of footage and have yet to replace the battery.The only negative is that you have to turn the power on and off manually. Doesn't sound like that big of an issue until you forget to turn it on!!!Is it the most amazing mic I have ever used, definitely not! But it is definitely a 5 star lower priced mic!

Salve, ho comprato questo microfono esterno, dopo aver visto parecchi video in rete.Devo dire che è tutto vero tutte le recensioni sono veritiere, e non di parte, risponde perfettamente alle caratteristiche dichiarate, funziona alla grande con le fotocamere digitali per fare video, veramente indispensabile, se non si vuole sentire il rumore dell' autofocus interno, e non ultimo cambia decisamente il livello audio della registrazione.Consigliato a tutti quelli che vogliono registrare video con la macchina fotografica, direi obbligatorio......

Ich finde das Mikrofon persönlich ziemlich gut. Ich meine, es ist kein super profi Mikrofon, aber es hat definitiv einen besseren Sound als die Eingebauten Mikrofone in DSLRs oder Camcorder. Somit erfüllt es seinen Zweck. Leider hat es ein bisschen Rauschen, was aber nicht weiterhin groß stört. Ich kann es für Einsteiger und Halbprofis auf jeden Fall empfehlen.
