what is actual measurement of pouch

Hi,it measures approx 4 1/2 inches (11.5cm) length & slightly over 3 1/2 inches height (9cm) would fit in pocket,hope it helps

is there enough room that I can add things to it?

Depends what you want to add. Ours is to go in a drawer of our rental property so i've added a decent supply of plasters, which i think is what most people may need; the ones supplied are not great quality and I just wanted a little first aid pouch instead of a huge box. The scissors are rubbish and there's a little bandage which again, wouldn't be suitable for a sprained ankle for instance. The bandage supplied is enough to strap a dressing on a cut finger. I bought it for the pouch and not for its contents.
