Lovely paper and good value for money

Nice paper with torn edge effect. The texture is great, adding a nice feature for my lino printing designs. It’s not so textured that the ink doesn’t take, but instead adds dimension and depth to the design.

Great weight and quality

I've been experimenting with watercolour painting lately and wanted to try using cotton paper to see how it would react. This is a good, robust paper - you have to work quickly before the water dries! But it produced some lovely colours and shapes so I would recommend it to anyone interested in painting on cotton paper.

I bought this pack of watercolour Khadi A5 paper for my husband and I to do 'art' on holiday. We are not artists and it was our first time doing watercolours, so I arrived at this option as it was heavier in weight thus I felt it wouldn't blow about so easily outside, it was also a convenient smaller size than A4 and would fit in my rucksack! I have heard art paper should be pre-stretched, I don't know if that applies to this type of paper and I did not prepare it in any way, we just painted straight onto it. It coped with a fair bit of water saturation, only rippling a bit and when we came home I pressed our 'art' under books and it went flat. The texture was nice, a little bit dimpled like orange peel! The edges are raw/ragged finish. What i'm not happy about is that not every piece of paper is accurately cut, one of the 2 pieces we have painted on is too narrow by about 2 -3 mm, I only discovered this inaccuracy after buying frames with mounts and one picture didn't fill the mount aperture along the top edge! Best to measure the paper yourself before painting if that could be an issue for you. As for the remaining paper, I've yet to discover if the issue persists throughout the pack.
