Replacing two very old timers! just what we wanted. We use them when away as a deterrent, lights and radio coming on and off hopefully keeps burglar's away! Good quality and quick delivery plus good price and easy to use.

Very easy to use, and works quite well. Because of its smaller size can fit on sockets some larger ones can not. Four stars because I had similar item some years ago and think probably the quality of the older ones was better.

Easy and quick to set up. I have tried other types of mechanical timers but I always go back to this Timeguard model with the pins. I find it the easiest and quickest to set up. Daily or weeklt timers available. I have got my Christmas lights attached to this timer and I have set them to come on and go off twice a day. (Great granny age 81) Easy Peasy

Very simple to use and reliable

This is a nice, simple time-switch with little pins you push to turn an actual physical switch on or off at set times. There's an override that lasts until the next pin comes around. I like this sort of switch and that sort of override logic. The available on-off times are at 15-minute intervals and not as accurate as a electronic switch, but that's fine for me. Some similar switches have little sliders to set on/off for each 15-minute intervals - I find those sliders move too easily and so prefer the pin mechanism of this switch. This switch occasionally fails to operate, In my case that means the light it is controlling sometimes stays on when it shouldn't. After that a light tap on the plug causes the switch to operate. The time-switch occupies a 13-amp socket and, at least in my case, is broad enough to block the one next to it.
