Really works, only cream I have used that clears up eczema patches completely
I have had patches of eczema for years, steroid creams have only managed them but never completely cleared them up. I was sceptical initially with Dermalex as I have tried many many creams and none have been very effective. But I tried Dermalex and when I first applied it I could not feel much of a change but I persevered with applying it regularly and a patch on my foot that was incredibly red, scaly, cracked and so itchy cleared up completely for the first time in years and years. It is as though it was never there! My hands/wrists are taking a little longer but this is due to me being busy and running out of cream. I have now purchased more and am concentrating on my hands which within a few days show signs of healing for the first time in over 20 years. Although it is expensive it is worth it, it will take more than one tube but if you persevere you will see the results. I don't usually write reviews but felt I should with this product.

Very good but expensive
Works with my eczema everywhere apart from my forehead and outer hands. The places it has worked have cleared in a day and stays away with daily top upsThe price is awful as I have seen it elsewhere a lot cheaper but if you need something next day, this is the oneWill be buying again (hopefully when it’s back on sale at £14)

MUST BUY FOR ECZEMA SUFFERERS!!!
I normally don’t write long reviews but in this case it’s worth it as eczema has impacted me my whole life as many of you have probably already experienced.I have to admit I was extremely skeptical when reading all the reviews as in the past nothing has really worked for me with these types of results (this includes antibiotics, steroid ointments, aloe vera, petroleum jelly, cold water etc).Let me set the background story for you. After some major stressors in my life my eczema on my feet flared up hurrendously. To the the point where I found it painful to walk.. I had to buy new shoes... I couldn’t wear skirts... i had to buy flared trousers and change my wardrobe to clothes that would both cover my feet in public whilst also not irritating the eczema (all socks and tights made it worse) and without looking like a freak with no fashion sense at work. My skin was broken... bleeding... weeping... inflamed... cracked... you name it. It looked so unsightly I avoided leaving my house unless I absolutely had to. I stopped wearing make-up and doing my hair nicely so i wouldnt attract any type of attraction and they wouldn’t be tempted to look down. I even went to the dentist and brough an extra jacket to cover my feet during the procedure because I was worried it would distract the dentist while he was meant to be focusing on my teeth and gums.My feet were itchy some nights i literally would tear at my skin and didn’t care it bled because it gave me relief of itching for at least 10mins. Itching is a euphemism for what I was feeling. I literally felt like my eczema was ON FIRE!!! I would spend my lunch breaks at work in the toilet just scratching and rubbing my eczema and the toilet floor would be full of my dead skin. It was disgusting. The last time I lay on the toilet floor I realised I needed to do something different. The steroid skin worked but only as long as I kept applying it and it was started to make my skin which was healthy peel terribly and thinned my normal skin.AFTER LITERALLY DAYS OF USING DERMALEX... my skin went from snakey, scaley, weeping and cracked... to smoother, itch-free, and manageable skin. I could wear skin colour tights and people wouldn’t even notice I had eczema. As an eczema sufferer i am sure my fellow eczema sufferers know how triumphant it feels to actually FORGET you have eczema during the day!!!Anyway my point is... this is WORTH every penny!!!! :)

Cheaper options in the shop
I have suffered eczema on my hands for 10+ years. Even steroid creams don't completely clear it up. My kind of eczema is the one that sprouts blistered spots, just one or two at a time, to claim more skin. Therefore it slowly 'grows'. After the blister stage it joins the existing skin next to it and becomes tough like leather, red and swollen with dry cracked areas. It is incredibly itchy in different ways for both stages. Once in the second stage of leathery skin, it becomes a perminant thing and nothing I or my GP have tried can clear it.So with that in mind, thjs didn't work to clear it up but did sooth it and moisturing it.A positive of using this has been that the moistureisation it provides lasts longer between needing re-application than shop bought stuff like Nivea or neutrogena.A negative is that it increased itching at the blister stage and when the skin does dry out and in need of reaplication. Then once applied again it took a long while to calm the itching.A postive of using this is that the tube is small enough to fit pretty much anywhere and it doesnt have a scent that could make me sneeze. A negative is that it is very expensive for how much you get. Applying it less often doesnt save on cream either because it requires more of it per application. So is it worth spending this much on this cream rather than less on another good cream as mentioned before? The fact is, they are about the same. The fact that this is expensive but you use less often and the shop bought other brands need to be applied more but you get more cream for your money probably evens the cost out.So why less some stars?1. It caused itching at the blister stage to be more intense and last longer than usual. The blisters were also redder than they have ever been. So I question if this is suitable for all. Eczema has lots of different tyoes within its name.2. When my skin starts to dry out it is quick and sudden... and so much more itchy than I am used to.The cost did not lower the stars as I have bought creams that cost 15+ and got lots of cream for my money but be rubbish this is not rubbish, it is good stuff.I would recommend trying this regatdless of other peoples experience or opinions. Everyones skin is different and will respond to this cream differently and uniquely.
