Intel Core i5-13600K Desktop Processor 14 cores (6 P-cores + 8 E-cores) 24M Cache, up to 5.1 GHz

This processor is fantastic. I upgraded my system and was able to reuse my DDR4 3200 RAM. Memory bandwidth is a thing up to a point, but mostly it's marketing as the higher in frequency you go the looser your memory timing gets negating much, if not all, of the performance gains. It may not have 8 performance cores but for gaming and everyday use there is zero difference. This processor boosted my FPS in DCS World (Combat Flight Simulator) considerably coming from an Intel 10700K. Best part is having less cores produces less heat and thus give you more boost and overclocking overhead while consuming less power. The 13600K really hit the sweet spot for me this time around.

Every single serious PC gamer has likely used this CPU before, and for good reason. It's a very nice CPU, with an accessible price, and very fast speeds.

The only issue I’ve really had is city skylines 2 (I’m pretty sure everyone does though, it’s super PCU hungry). It does run hot under load 90°c for me with a be quiet cooler. Worried I removed my cooler and pre applied thermal paste and reapplied my own paste and got the same results. My next CPU will probably be a i7 or i9 with a AIO.

I love the 14 REAL cores. I don't need the fastest. For the price it rocks. I write software and the test run in parallel by taking advantage of the CPU count. A real work horse.
