I am really impressed with this kit. We are first time owners of a above ground pool. We have a 14ft Bestway pool. Unfortunately after two days of having it up we had a day of awful weather, high winds, rain, typical after I decided to purchase a pool 🤦🏻‍♀️ Anyways so much dirt and mud went into the pool due to it being too windy for the cover to stay on. I used the vacuum to suck up all the dirt and it worked so well considering the amount that was in there. It didn't suck up the stones but I think that's due to the filter not being strong enough. We have got a sand filter we are planning to set up and use so I think this will help. But even with the weaker filter I am so impressed. As you can see by the photo it collected so much. I really like the brush attachment for the vacuum as it brushes all the little particles from the bottom. It was so easy to use and to set up. If I had one issue with this kit I would say the netting on the net needs to be smaller as the holes are a little too big for some of the floating stuff. Other than that it's a fab kit and a must for a pool owner.

We bought our first big 12 foot pool this year and we love it, only thing we found is the bugs fly into the water, die and float and then fall into the bottom, my kids didnt want to get in the pool unless I got the net we had and took me best part of half hour to get out most of the bugs. But I thought after doing this five odd times, I went online and bought this, I must say its brilliant how it works. It works off your standard pool pump. It does need cleaning out mid way and trapped air can be a problem. But very happy with this set. Good value for money and a great must buy for your pools.

I have a small 2x3m intex pool. I run a 1000gal/hr rated intex cartridge filter pump. Half of the stuff that gets in the pool (dead bugs and sand from feet etc) sinks to the bottom so even a small pool can benefit from some kind of vacuuming. I have previously been using a hose to siphon from near the floor and sweeping the dirt up towards the filter intake but that will only get you so far. This kit makes it so much easier to clean up. I like the quality of the pole which can extend super long and most of the attachments. The pipe is not very flexible and there’s a lot of it making it hard to manage in a small pool. The net is not the best either as the netting material has a very open structure which allows small bugs to escape back through into the pool. I guess it would work for leaves or large debris. But despite this I do recommend the kit. The small brush head is good too. The vacuum works fine even on my small pump. Just remember to go nice and slow and be sure to eliminate air before attaching to the filtration system. I was able to pick up all the sand from the floor in a ten minute cleaning session. The filter in the vacuum didn’t seem to allow much of the dirt through to the filter cartridge, although I’d recommend washing the cartridge out afterwards anyway. I think some people expect a lot from pool vacuums but if you see how slowly an expensive cleaning robot moves around with huge pump powering it you realise that vacuuming underwater is not the same as cleaning a carpet. You have to be patient or you end up stirring up the debris away from the floor.

If you have not used this type of vacuum before its worth checking Y-tube for instruction on how the fill the hose. The kit is meant for a much bigger pool than mine but I still think its excellent value for money. Adding a finer filter bag to the vacuum stops very small stuff heading for the pump. Reducing the length of the hose makes it easier to handle and gives you some spare hose.

Needed something to remove the sandy, gritty debris that was coating the bottom of an 8ft pool. This was a reasonable price and it was delivered quickly. The items in the kit are of good quality. There is a good length of hose, too much for my sized pool but plenty for bigger ones. The telescopic pole is very good and strong. The vacuum is made of nice strong plastic and attaches to the pole and hose easily. You need to get the air out of the hose and vac before you can start cleaning, the easy way is to connect it to the pump outlet to fill the hose and vac. Once filled connect to the pump inlet. This is where I found problems. My pump is rated at 330gal/hr which I think is too weak to get a strong vacuum action, it does work but is slow. The next problem I found is the way the front of the vac connects to the back, it is a simple twist connection. I found that it is possible to undo the connection as you manoeuvre the vac along the bottom of the pool. If this happens all the debris in the collection bag falls out. I now take care not to twist the pole and vac to prevent this happening but in a larger and deeper pool this could be difficult. The connection of the two parts of the vac could do with being more secure. Otherwise quite a good purchase.

After much deliberation and research I opted to buy this for my intex pool, to replace a hoover I had managed to make, that attached to the pump inlet. I wasn’t sure this would work, unfortunately my pump isn’t powerful enough for an automatic cleaner. This however has surpassed my expectations. Everything You need is in the box, set up is very easy. Ensure that the hoover housing is clicked in correctly, and take your time whilst hoovering the bottom of the pool. We keep our pool up over the winter (winterising it) so with the warmer bank holiday weather looming I decided now is the time to open it up and get it ready. On the bottom there was lots of bits (flys, leaves, hair and algae) all of which after a few hours have been hoovered up. The small net does a brilliant job at stopping as much debris going into the filter cartridge. It does need to be taken out and cleaned regularly (depending upon how dirty the bottom of the pool is!) There are a couple of downsides, the hoover head could be bigger (it takes ages as it is small) and the hoover housing is very heavy when your lifting it out of the water. This summer my pool is going to look amazing because I’m going to be able to keep it much cleaner!

Wir hatten vor einigen Jahren einen Intex-Pool bestellt, bei der die 3-teilige Version des Reinigungssets dabei war. Unser Rundpool ist knapp 5m im Durchmesser. Das 3-teilige Set ist auch recht nett und einfach zu nutzen. Das Problem mit dem 3-teiligen Set stellt sich aber erst im Laufe der Poolsaison heraus: während zu Beginn noch recht grober Schmutz sich auf dem Boden ansammelt, der leicht zu entfernen ist, so kommt über die Wochen immer mehr feinste Erde, Sand oder ähnlicher Dreck hinzu. Reinigt man den Boden, scheint alles sauber zu sein, wartet man etwas ab, so legt sich der aufgewirbelte Dreck wieder ab und es sieht wieder verschmutzt aus, spätestens wenn man die Pumpe anstellt und der Dreck sich in möglichen Falten sammelt, ist man enttäuscht. Der Grund ist klar: das scheinbar feine Netz sammelt feinen Dreck leider nicht, sondern lässt ihn durch. Deshalb habe ich mir das 5-teilige Set zugelegt, bei dem keine feinen Sand- und Erdpartikel mehr entweichen können. Das Ergebnis ist ein perfekt sauberer Boden. Das Handling ist aber ein klein wenig schwieriger als beim 3-teiligen Set: Der Skimmer-Schlauch muss entfernt bzw. der Adapter an der Ablass-Düse muss durch den beigefügten Adapter ersetzt werden. Dann muss der Schlauch mit Wasser gefüllt werden, was man mit Hilfe einer eingeschalteten Poolpumpe an der Auslassdüse aber leicht hinbekommt. Anschließend muss der Schlauch am Adapter und an dem Kunststoffteil, das das Netz beinhaltet, befestigt werden. Danach noch die Stange befestigen und einsatzbereit ist das Gerät. Hat man noch eine Solarmatte angeschlossen, so sollte man hier den Hebel so wählen, dass diese nicht genutzt wird, dann ist die Saugkraft besser. Hat man es ein paar Male gemacht, so geht es immer besser. Das grobmaschige Keschernetz ist eher etwas für den ganz großen Dreck, da ist das Sieb für meine Bedürfnisse beim 3-teiligen Set deutlich praktischer. Und "natürlich" gilt: das 3-teilige und das 5-teilige Set sind nicht kompatibel, da die Durchmesser der Stangen unterschiedlich sind. Alles in allem bin ich mit dem 5-teiligen Set sehr zufrieden, für den Preis gibt es wohl wenig Alternativen, die den Boden astrein sauber bekommen.
