Flutterbye Princess Fairy Figure

My daughter loves this. She asked santa for it for Xmas and he delivered. Lovely santa he is. This does take some practice sp don't be fooled by the perfect advert but add a determined little girl and they will get it quick enough. The best part for me is the fact it's rechargeable and all you have to do is plug the lead into a handy usb plug which most households have with their phones. Once charged there is a switch just on the belt line of the fairy to turn on. Wait a few seconds and it will spin slow and suddenly it picks up. This is where you need to get it right. Hold it up as straight as possible as low down to the ground as possible and then gently let go. Do this at the wrong angle and it will fly across the room trying to escape. Once you master this the rest is easy. Simply guide the feet with your hand out flat. This also takes a few attempts to get right but again a determined child will get it quicker than us adults (I still suck at keeping it in the air). The next best thing is the safety of this I imagined tangled hair and ruined lamp shades but as soon as this hits anything it shuts down so there is no fear of damaging anything. Once it does shut down you will need to turn the switch of then back on again to get her going. I also feared bruised fingers from the spinning skirt but these are so soft it does not hurt if you have a child that likes to try out these things. This has bounced around our lounge all Xmas and no damage as of yet, a section of the skirt may pop of but these simply clip back on. Overall this has been a good gift from santa and very much worth the money paid. Robust and safe so it ticks all of my boxes and my 6 year hasn't been disappointed.

This was quite good fun for the 5 days it lasted before breaking (being used once or twice a day). I got two of these (one for each of my daughters) and they both broke on the same day. The fairy can only be 'controlled' up and down (no lateral control), so the result is that it will nearly always hit a wall or something eventually, which probably contributes to its breaking.This model is USB powered for charging, which is convenient.Overall, it is fun, but not nearly robust enough. I would not recommend it.

First received was damaged but speedily replaced and very happy little girl.

its not fun and good as i exept .i buyed it for my 4 yer daughter and i can say its a cheap toy made from a bad plastic who have allready damaged! it hit the wall and anything ont fly too much and dont resist too much i think less then 5 min and then need to charge it ! im pretty sure it will be broken in next days ( i just got it yesterday). no worth that much for that cheap toy !

Although it seems quite flimsy, it does what it says and my granddaughter loves it.

This was a great birthday gift for my 7 year old grand-daughter, we all loved it in fact and couldn't wait to have a go. Was going to buy one for Christmas for her sister who is 4 but I paid £10 and to buy again with Amazon its now £24.99!! Can't believe it, hence I won't be buying another one

Well it worked after a short charge and fluttered about but seemed to just go in the one direction and didn't hover over the hand like promised...but caused shrieks of delight and wonder to my friend's 6 yr old little girl who I'd bought it for! Nearly lost it out of an open door but managed to grab it in time or I think it may have disappeared! Not sure how it survived on their flight home but for the short term it gave great delight!

Meine Tochter ( 5 Jahre) hat die Fee zu Ostern bekommen und sie war total fasziniert. Sie wollte sich garnicht mehr von ihrer Fee trennen. Mir persönlich gefällt es sehr gut,dass die Fee über ein USB-Kabel geladen wird. Die Fee ist jetzt ca. 3 Monate im Gebrauch und funktioniert immer noch einwandfrei.
