Product is very good. Got a fright initially as the white one would not bring colour down and I was wary of pressing the nib onto the board in case it destroyed the nib. But then I got sidetracked by something my daughter was saying whilst holding the nib pressed and the chalk colour began showing. Less problems with the other colours. Cant say I love ALL the colours in this pack, but I am certainly grateful to have a good selection to try things with. The seller had contacted me with advice on testing the markers on an inconspicuous spot first which I thought was very thoughtful and kind of them. He needn't have worried. I had read the reviews and complaints and knew that I had to order a specific type of board (laminated). So I had written to the board supplier to enquire and found out that their boards are compatible with these liquid chalk markers. All is well! Manufacturer suggested taking the colours off with Mr Muscle Kitchen. SuperChalks supplier recommends a wet cloth. I used a damp tissue and then I used a Huggies Pure wet wipe. There was no ghosting from the pens. HOWEVER, when I left the writing for a week and tried to remove it, there was ghosting. The blackboard supplier blamed the pens, but I don't believe it is the pen's fault as I can see the surface of my laminated blackboard is not totally smooth. Anyway, I came to edit my review to remove my recommendation to buy the boards from the supplier I had used as I do not believe their product is as good as I initially thought.

My kids and I have been drawing and doodling with these for a few days now, they are bright, fun and easy to use.It is very important that you make sure you test the surface you are writing on first. To check your surface draw one small dot and leave it 24 hours then wipe it off... if it doesn't leave a shadow you're good to go.I couldn't use these on my blackboard (till I covered it with a PVC blackboard decal!) but they work fine on my glass black notice board. For the kids I put black paper in glass clip frames, instant doodle space! :)I gave four stars because I guess generally folks, like me, will think they will work well on a blackboard and this is not always the case, I found out the hard way.... so don't do as I do and DO check the surface BEFORE you start writing all over it :D

The company that sold me these were very attentive and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. The pens themselves are pretty good and are vibrant as they possibly could be. The only slight downside is part of the manufacturing side of the pens - having to push-down to get the chalk-ink to flow actually makes rather large puddles of chalk colour instead of a finer more "pen" like effect. It has proven slightly difficult to make them write as a normal, thick chalk pen/piece of chalk but it doesn't fully detract from their usageI'll buy them again!

Does what it says on the packet. Chalk pens ideal for writing on glass. Nib is reversible (chisel tip one side and bullet tip the other) but you do get messy fingers if you change the nib after priming the pen!I have a glass notice board in the kitchen and all the colours seem easy enough to read. My kids (15 and 24) love leaving really chalk intensive drawings on the board and the pens have not run out yet, I've had them for a couple of months now so we will see how they go.

These liquid chalk pens are brilliant colours and are a joy to use.. My grandchildren and I have been using them. They dry quickly and can be removed with a damp cloth. Our blackboard has a good smooth finish. The supplier dispatched these pens quickly.. They also sent a helpful e-mail reminding me that these pens are meant only for non-porous surfaces and that they could stain porous surfaces.. We have had no problems with them. Many thanks.

We use these to practise spellings with our 5-year old in the bath. She uses them on the glass shower screen and they write really well on dry surfaces. They wash off too - which is why, unsurprisingly they cannot cope with wet surfaces. We have deliberately steered away from allowing our child to draw on tiles for fear of staining the white grouting but I suspect that they would be fine.Now on our second pack and have even bought some as gift for other parents.

Arrived on time safely pact I used these pens for the first time on my glass bottles the colors are fantastic I will certainly be useing them again and would certainly recommend these pens to anybody who paint on glass members of my family are now starting to use them after seeing the results on my bottls.Many thanks for a great product.

If you play darts or skittles, using a traditional blackboard and chalk - buy these. The liquid ink is so much cleaner and easier to use than chalk. There's no dust and it wipes off with a damp cloth. You may need to shake them a few times during the course of an evening, but for small whiteboards around the home, they would be perfect.
