Lintbells YuMEGA Itchy Dog Supplement for dogs with itchy or sensitive skin (250ml)

My little Dachshund has always had a red belly which gets much worse in the summer, she sits for many hours biting and licking it aggravating the problem. We have tried all sorts to make her more comfortable and reduce the problem from bio washing detergents, rubbing aloe vera into her and steroids from the vets. Some of the treatments make the condition a little better but not had the results we had hoped.We saw this product YuMEGA on a blog post and had to give it a go. I was quite sceptical after reading some reviews but after just two weeks I can honestly say it has worked wonders. The redness on her skin and her licking and biting has reduced by around 50% already and I hope to see more improvement after a longer period.I didn't think she would have her food with this on, at first she picked her way through it but after a few days it didn't seem to bother her.There was no "fishy" smell as others have commented, not even on her breath.Being a small dog as well the bottle is going to last a long time. However, If you have a large dog if could prove quite a costly supplement.The only downfall and where I found there should have been more guidance was the dosage. My dog weighs 5kg, the smallest dose it suggests is 2.5ml for dogs unto 10Kg. So I wasn't sure whether to go for 2.5ml, 2ml or 1.5ml. In the end, I settled on 1.5ml and as I said before it seems to be doing the trick.Wish we had found this product sooner!

I cannot recommend this strongly enough. Alfie is a dachund cross and from a pup he was loosing fur, and often vomited yellow bile and his skin had become so hyper pigmented it had gone from white to black. The vet was stumped. He had skin scrapings to test for mites, an exclusion diet which was really hard on him, alongside lots of tests for digestive problems and allergies. Nothing came back conclusive enough to pin the problem down. And then we tried Yumega. Within about 3 weeks of taking it every day his fur was growing back, within 8 weeks his skin was white again and he hasn't been sick since. It is amazing how much this stuff helped. We literally tried everything. The vet was amazed at his recovery, and he is back on normal dog food and allowed treats again, and is a lot happier for this. After spending so much money on trying to sort his digestion and skin problems out I can't believe how simple and cheap this is. And he loves the taste of it too.I don't usually review products, but if your dog has any skin or digestion problems please but this for them. Their tails will be wagging every meal time and you'll save a lot of money in vet fees too.

After a year of trying various creams, supplements, shampoos etc I tried this. My poor dog has been itching and nibbling at herself on and off all that time, she has a bald chest and armpits plus underneath and near her tail. Her skin was very dry, scaley and quite thickened. She has become quite depressed. She has been on Yumega Plus for about a month now, her skin is no longer thickened and is as soft as butter, scales and dryness has gone. She is still itching and nibbling when it's warm, but less than before. Hair is starting to appear in some areas, she has got some of her mojo back too.Will it last? I don't know, is it a co-incidence? it could be, but I'm really pleased with the results so far and have my fingers crossed that I've found something that actually works. (I should add that she has a top quality diet, (raw plus some grain free complete), so it isn't poor diet that caused her problem that this has easily rectified).Would certainly recommend trying it, though a friend who shows dogs has advised me never to stop it if it does work as improved condition can revert very quickly if stopped.

I've never given my dogs supplements because they've done fine with their complete food but our new Border Collie puppy came to us scratching herself to bits. Her fur was so patchy and dull and she couldn't settle at all, she was always so itchy. I was back and forth to the vets with her and we tried everything apart from the flea medication: horrendously expensive shampoo, antihistamines, creams and more. Finally a new vet suggested Yumega and if that didn't work then she'd need to be given skin scrapes. I was fairly cynical (why should this work when real drugs had failed?) but ready to try anything if it might stop her itching. She's been taking it for about three weeks now, just a little bit mixed in with her evening food and I am truly startled by the difference it's made. Her fur is thicker and glossier and far more importantly it has stopped the itching! The dreadful red rash on her tummy has completely cleared up and she can sleep, eat and play just like a normal puppy now without spending hours frantically scratching herself. I am now a devoted admirer of Yumega and boring my fellow dog walking friends to death telling them how wonderful it is!

Hasn't helped at all with my dogs itching. It has improved his stiffness though. Helpful but not for the reasons advertised.

I am really amazed in how fast Yumega Plus made a radical change to my 3 year old labrador in just 5 days. She has 15ml in her dinner once a day (Poppy the Labrador weighs 37kg) and she has no issue in eating her meal with the oil included - the bowl is cleared every time. Her coat is now so soft and silky and just totally gleams. Dandruff has disappeared completely - her skin is supple, loose and looks very healthy. The constant licking of her paws has just stopped and believe me - I have tried so many bit and pieces to try and knock this on the head once and for all but nothing touched it until I started with this product. And its not just me saying what a difference - I have since been stopped on a number of occasions by individuals complimenting me on how superb my dog looks and asking me what I feed her on to make her coat so glossy and soft. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this product - it is really fabulous and you can see the results very very quickly. I am now getting it on subscription from Amazon so that I never run out.
