I cannot believe how good this scissors are for the price. Incredibly easy to clean, I throw them in the dishwasher every time and so far any sign of rust. Also, the screw area which is the most prone to rust is plastic while the blades start higher up. I am incredibly pleased with those scissors, have been using them to cut meat and herbs and I found them faultless. They are very comfortable to use, my large fingers fit confortably in the rings, I have a good grip and the cut is fairly sharp. They also feature a nut cracker and bottle opener that, to be fair, I haven't used so far. A must buy at this price. I used to have a much more expensive pair of Sabatier scissors which I loved and I had to dispose in a move abroad but I really see no difference in performance (also the Sabatier did get a bit rusty at some point - but I still loved them). I saw some reviews point out to structural issues and poor durability but my experience was very good so far.

Good and sturdy scissors

I recently went around a family members house and used their scissors of which were the same as these and they cut amazingly. The blades nice and tightly pressed against eachother and as a result give a great cut so I had a look for some to replace my old scissors! Sharpness: - These are very sharp, especially comparing them to my old scissors which couldn't even cut through 2 layers of paper with a label stuck on it yet these new ones cut through like butter! I am very very happy with how sharp they are! Build Quality: - The build quality is decent, of course it's not fantastic but it's more than good enough for some household scissors. They should last plenty long enough. Price: - The price is very very good, for only £2 you can't really go wrong. Even if these only last a year it's worth it. Overall: - Very sharp, very cheap, acceptable built quality and a worthwhile buy! I got these to cut with and they cut perfectly.

Reordered, sharp, precise, go a bit rusty, look good but middle covers fell out. Cut well, good for kids to use.

Great pair of scissors. I’ve always used cheap little pairs in the kitchen so despite the price this was an upgrade for me. They work a charm, appear to be fairly durable and long lasting and can be sharpened if blunt. It does appear from other reviews that there are issues with the build quality but if you’re like me and prefer to use a razor sharp knife over scissors for the majority of tasks then this will more then do the job.i think the hardest thing I’ve cut with them is a cinnamon stick, if that’s anything to gauge their strength by!

I can't understand the negative reviews. I had one pair for a long time, and last week I bought a second pair for my office. What's not to like?? The handles are very comfortable, blades are perfectly alligned and sharp, and they cost less than a big mac. I never used them as bottle opener or nutcracker because I have the proper tool for those jobs. The older pair lives in the kitchewn, has been washed hundreds of times, and still there is absolutely no rust on the blades or elsewhere.
