Brilliant piece of kit
I already had 2 of these adapters, and I wanted to extend to another room, but in the past I have tried using an older TP Link adapter and I couldn’t get it to pair. But pairing these was a breeze, just click the pairing buttons on the existing adapter, and then the new adapter was no problem at all.

Fantastic piece of kit
I have upgraded after having a TP-Link AV600 for 5 years. The upgrade is massive and palpable. The TP-Link AV600 capped out for me at 80mbps maximum and had frequent disconnects. This AV2000 is now maxing out my 150mbps broadband and I feel its futurproof and ready for my next broadband speed increase

Works, but not quite what it says on the box speed wise!
TP-Link TL-PA9020PKITDoes it work yes, but with big riders or more a case of liar liar pants on fire!In reality you will get nothing like the advertised 2000Mbs even next to each other, although to be fair all the other Powerline type devices suffer from this same problem, must be aspiring politicians! It doesn't work well between different circuits on a mains breaker/fuse box/consumer unit, so if upstairs is on a different ring/circuit, don't expect much.On just the downstairs ring, at furthest socket (25m) was getting up to about 30MBps and over 50Mbps at 10m socket so definitely usable, to the garden shed - no connection! The devices are well made, the only bad point is that the LED lights are on the side, and typically every socket they were plugged in to they couldn't be easily seen (close to corner wall/furniture)- on the front would be a lot more sensible, with an off switch for the LED's.Conclusion:Decided to bite the bullet and actually install wired ethernet, which won't cost much more and is then zero cost (no power consumption). The units are good for what they do, but limited by your mains wiring layout. They are easy to use, it really is plug, press and play. provided the electrical circuits are suitable.Would I buy again? Probably not, better off using wired ethernet which I can, just more work!

2000 / 8 = 250
Good. Getting nearly 250 download on 1gig broadband.

Performance may vary
Bought to see if they would be a speed improvement over 5GHz WiFi 6 which when going between floors in my house loses half the signal strength to my office PC upstairs. Haven't tried powerlink for years since AV100 speeds which at the time with the standard of internet widely available were sufficient. While max link speed is stated 'up to' 2000Mbps, the important part to note is 'up to' which will depend on wiring path and distance in your situation. In my <20 year old build 3 bedroom house from the living room downstairs to office upstairs link speed between the two devices hovers around ~1250Mbps plugged straight in the wall, router to PC with cat7 cables. However this only translates to throughput on my 1200Mbps fibre internet as a max of ~300Mbps up/down over this for whatever reason, tested over multiple days and all the different QOS modes that seem to make no difference for my use.Even with a half-strength WiFi 6 signal I get ~850Mbps up/down..The product was very straightforward to set up and link with good stability, but the speed hit on the connection isn't worth it when moving large files around so unfortunately I've returned them and looking at other solutions to either improve the wireless coverage or just finally stop being lazy and run a cable between floors.May solve problems for some where there is no other solution but for just how much, performance seems very situational. If you just need any sort of connection whatsoever they're fine but manage your expectations if speed is important to your use case. Also having to install and run yet another basic do-nothing piece of proprietary software on the PC to monitor the devices is a personal annoyance, for the limited information it gives I would have thought some sort of local web interface would suffice.

Great
Very easy to set up and excellent quality of signal transmission. Much better than relying on wireless link.

Totally surpassed expectations!
Let me explain...I was already using a much older tp link 500mb set up for streaming quobus and cd quality to a pair of naim muso qbs about the house. In doing so I was experiencing mild drop outs of 1-2 seconds every few minutes....irritating but something I never got sorted.Well inserting these new tp link 2gb powerline cured the initial problem with an ease of set up that was brilliant....but , and here's the kicker....the sound quality even through the modest naim muso qbs took such a leap forward if I had been walked into the bedroom blindfolded( hold that thought!) I would have easily been convinced the player had been changed.Really....that good!I do not have to use these device's for my main hi fi so was not expecting or trying to hear any difference other than no buffering but wow what a result and on the strength of my findings these could be the cheapest hi fi upgrade out there, OK not as sexy as on show new boxes but the proof in my case is certainly in the pudding.
