Worth every penny
The security locks on my van had become difficult to use, the key took some persuasion to go in and remove. I've used this product on all the locks once, the locks are used several times daily and since they have required no effort at all. The key can now be inserted and removed easily and, there's no messy residue on the lock or key like you get after spraying. A good product and worth every penny for no more stress using the locks.

Works perfect
Works perfect, luckily I read some comments on here about how messy it is and it’s definitely a bit messy but it’s worth it as it does work now my car key ignition in my Nissan micra works great again and doesn’t get stuck

Great Dry Lubricant - minor niggles
Great product for lubricating sticky or difficult locks.Works like a charm - however two small niggles prevent 5 stars.1) The nozzle has a section that is obviously meant to be cut off - but when you cut it there, the hole that is made is hardly big enough to let any of the graphite powder out. So, you cut the nozzle slightly shorter so that the hole is slightly bigger and the captive cap (which you can see in the picture) only JUST fits over the end of the nozzle. If I'd cut the nozzle just 0.5mm shorter, it wouldn't have!2) The graphite powder is difficult to get out of the bottle. The sides of the bottle 'squeeze' in and tis is supposed to 'puff' the powder out of the nozzle - only it doesn't. I suspect it WOULD if you squeezed the bottle hard enough - but you'd most likely end up with lots of slippery dark grey/black graphite powder all over everything.I found it best to tilt the bottle downwards first before squeezing GENTLY to 'pre-fill' the nozzle, then aim it where you want the powder to go and then squeeze gently again to puff the powder out.Two notes of CAUTION.The powder is incredibly fine and goes EVERYWHERE (and is a bit messy to clear up properly) and secondly it is INCREDIBLY SLIPPERY (but then that's what you want from a lubricant!)Better to use on exterior door locks for the house and car than using a liquid oil-based lubricant as when the temperature drops well below zero, the oil can freeze solid - the graphite powder won't do this.Happy to recommend the product though - despite the above caveats.Hope this helps,Art

Brilliant stuff, just be careful as you need less than you think
Graphite powder is a truly excellent dry lubricant. It is also a swine to remove from anywhere you don't want it so use VERY carefully!I use this stuff to keep lock barrels and other precision mechanicals that don't benefit from wet lubricants, moving freely.Oh and though hardly precision, it is excellent for stopping the squeaks on the hinges of a woodburner because it is dry and won't be affected by the high temperatures that can be produced.Niche use stuff, but so useful on occasion. In reality I expect this will outlive me as you use so little each time.A couple of recommendations (based on experience).Cut the tip to a very fine hole. You don't need much for any job and anywhere it goes, it stays, so think about that and have paper or card below what you are going to use it on.If using it for a lock, coat the key then use it in the lock. Repeat a couple of times and you should be sorted. Use a wet wipe to clean the key after this if you are going to put the key in your pocket!!Overall, superb stuff, just be careful in use and maybe date the container to see just how long it does last! :)Thanks for reading and I hope you found it useful.

Great Stuff !
Amazing Stuff, frees sticky locks easily.Get a bit of product in the cone section of the dispenser and squeeze gently in to the lock barrel, needs hardly any to make a big difference.

Excellent value - apply it with the key!
This is a great value alternative to some far more expensive brands, and it arrived in super-quick time.It is a dry powder, without any oil, grease or solvent, and so will not clog the lock. Used carefully and sparingly every 6 months this little bottle should last for years, as long as you don't try squeezing it, in which case it will just go everywhere and make a wasteful dirty mess. When using as intended on an high security cylinder lock, with a flat style key then it is best to apply it using the key as a carrier rather than trying to 'squirt' it into the lock barrel.Cut the smallest possible amount off the tip of the spout to make the tiniest opening to enable you to control the very fine powder.Carefully sprinkle a little along one face of the key, getting it into all the holes - tap the bottle gently rather than squeezing, or else it will just go everywhere! Insert the key, give it half a turn and rattle it about to allow the powder to fall inside the lock. Repeat using the key the other way up, then work the lock back and forth a few times to distribute the powder through the mechanism.Brush or wipe the surplus graphite off the key before putting it back in your pocket or bag!
