No it won’t. I am actually a hairdresser and have used it frequently on clients, it helps add moisture for quickness, even use on my own for quick detangling in the mornings. Would still use a cream conditioner every few shampoos if your hair is very dry for intense moisture.

Can it be used on extensions?

Yes it is free from nasty chemicals so safe on hair extensions
