This was bought for my new Culina extractor hood as was unable to get the manufacturers kit. Price matched accross the internet for similar and found this one just as good quality wise and quite a bit cheaper. There were plenty of options available for choosing the correct colour of the external grill to blend in with various brickwork. Supplied with clear assembly and fitting instructions. Very good product.

Duct itself was quite robust (it can be a "robust" process getting it through the wall and roof, with the odd nail etc).Vent was ok and had sufficient overlap to hide the hole cut in the soffit outside.Duct was a bit tight (as mentioned by other reviewers) to get onto the 150mm cooker vent, but managed it with some stretching.

Used in conjunction with a 150 to 100mm reducer and everything fitted as expected. had to be careful handling the concertina extractor pipe , quite long so had to cut down to about 1metre and gave the rest to my neighbour to replace his old one so no issues. Had to put in a couple of small screws to fix it to the adaptor even tho' it was a good fit as the extraction was quite fierce and blew it off quite easily. Outside vent plate fitted well , pins which hold the vent are a little delicate so take care, broke a couple but just added a small blob of silicone sealant when fitted. all in all very satisfied with quality and value for money. Colour was ok, quite light but looks good.

Essentially an air vent. It vents air. But easy to install. Ensure the hole in the wall is cut with at least 127mm core drill bit. Even then you might need to notch out for the tightening bolt of the ducting. The grill was a bit stiff to remove before drilling to the wall but easy enough to get in.

Item arrived quickly, but description states 2 jubilee clips but only 1 supplied. Ducting is very tight to go over extractor connecter as ducting is the same size. Ducting is very thin and easily rips when stretched. No screws provided to fix vent or to secure outer vent cover

Nice and easy to fit and very sturdy, vent is very good quality too which also includes a fly mesh! I brought 152mm hole saw to cut a nice clean hole which made the job nice and easy would definitely recommend

Good value and does the job

I used a 125mm core drill, but the hole was just too small, it needs to be 2 or 3 mm larger. As it happened, I drilled through breeze block, and it was easy to enlarge the hole sideways with the core drill. The hose looks and feels more like aluminium coloured plastic, but it is really quite tough. I cut a length off the ample 3m to test the hole size as I enlarged it and, despite much manhandling, it survived intact. I like the design of the grille, and appreciate the built in flyscreen.
