After a heavy night out I managed to destroy our microwave plate trying to cook food... I have no idea what, or how.It was a stupid idea, I should have opted for a kebab, wife was livid (not sure why, she didn't need to use the microwave).Amazon rescued me as always and our microwave is now good as new - this plate seems like the original, just not split in half.

I was nervous about buying a replacement online, but it was packaged securely and arrived without any damage. It fits and has been in daily use for a while now, with no problems at all.

I dropped the microwave plate for our Sainsbury's microwave recently and it smashed.... Unfortunately when I rang Sainsbury's for a replacement, they stated that they no longer made or supplied parts for my microwave, so I was concerned that I would have to buy a new microwave, until I spotted this on Amazon.I measured up and tried out various sizes of plate in my oven (having rather stupidly put the broken plate in the bin to get the sharp glass away from my kids) and decided that this would be about the right size. This has the three nodules or bumps underneath that means that it fits the rotation motor in the base of the microwave we already had.So far, we have been using it for about 3 weeks and are delighted. A bargain price and now my microwave works just as it used to.

The glass plate was packaged well and arrived quick.However the glass came chipped on the edge. (Please see image) This was a health and safety hazard.Imagine if I put my hand into the box without looking, this would of cut me.I don't know how this came out of QA testing.I can confirm this was not broken in transit as they was no broken glad piece in the box.Other then that the product fits perfectly and high quality.
