Ideal for restoring vintage moka pots
I have an unidentifiable genuine Bialetti "6" cup ( 1 MUG, I have a serious habit ... ) stainless moka pot, that is at least 15 years old. It doesn't match any of the 100s of online pictures that I've looked at. The RUBBER gasket originally fitted eventually deteriorated to the extent that the pressurized liquid was seeping out from the screw join, and wasn't retaining the perforated filter plate properly. Careful, workshop, measurement showed that I needed an outside diameter of 71 mm, and an ID of 56. Some sellers had these listed but unavailable. Some that had them were asking a huge price, and their descriptions were suspect.I bought this product because there were three gaskets, it came with a replacement filter plate, and was fractionally oversize. It was the correct material for a stainless pot, being rubber rather than silicone. Having three gaskets gave me the opportunity to "have another go" if my first attempt at trimming down the gasket to size didn't work. Having the correct filter plate for these gaskets meant that I could simply use that plate, and not have to modify the inner hole which would have been much harder. VERY careful trimming with sharp scissors (it took quite a time, and a steady hand) resulted in success on the first attempt, and I have two spares for the future. If you have an odd sized Moka pot that needs a new gasket, consider this option. It worked for me. Mugs of coffee again.

A New Bialetta Filter, Or Not?
Unlike the original filter that came with my Bialetti Moka Express, the new one is flat. The lack of ridge marks makes it confusing, as to where the filter's going to sit.First of all I tried having the filter facing out, so that I could naturally put the seal around it. This resulted in their being a slight gap. This meant that when I made a drink, steam and residual coffee would come out the side.I was convinced that the filter was too big, as it could sit on top of the top's rim; quite easily. But this was not the case at all; all I had to do was to have the filter flat facing up, with the 'Made in Britain' sign facing down. Here the seal fits flush with the filter, and the bottom is easier to screw on: as the other way around it was harder.Once correctly in place, this is a great replacement filter.

It does the job
Bought it for my Kona coffee 6 pot. A bit rare coffee pot. It is just a wee bit small. Taking about a millimeter. No big deal as it works..Arrived safely and earlier than stated.

So pleased there are companies focussing on repairability!
What a pleasant surprise. The Bialetti mokka has been such a great companion for the last 4 years. It's only now that it was in strong need of a new gasket and I was really worried I would have to buy a new coffee maker. No need to worry as Bialetti has you covered with all the replacement parts you need. The gasket fits perfectly once you remove the (remnants of) the previous one. I did this by prying it off with a blunt knife, and then washing off the last bits with a dishes scrub. Once done, you have the choice of either replacing the filter, or trying to wash it off (which I did). This is great, as again, the manufacturer does not force you into replacing any additional parts than those that are no longer functional.I am so in love with my Mokka and I bet this gaskets will give it at least another 10 years of daily use. Well done Bialetti, you designed these things incredibly well, and one can really tell.

Don’t waste money on cheap imitations
I bought these to replace a rubber seal that had worn out after many months of coffee making. The seals will easily last 6 months of regular use, so long as you look after, and clean them, well. Better still, you get three in the pack, so definitely value for money. It is important to know the size of your stovetop coffee pot before ordering; this is not a one size fits all product. Also, buyers who require frustration-free packaging should be aware that the product is delivered in hard plastic. I needed scissors to open the pack.I’ve tried the cheaper, unbranded alternatives in the past. My advice - spend the extra pound and buy the Bialetti. Currently retailing in the vicinity of £5, it’s little more than the price of a coffee on the high street, and worth every penny.

Perfect fitting genuine replacement gasket seals and filter.
If taken care of, your Moka Express pot can last a very long time and these are the most frequently required replacement parts. The gasket seals need replacement after 1-2 years of daily use (longer if you don't use quite so often) and the filter needs replacing every few years so this will keep your pot working well for a good few years yet. The gaskets are identical to the original one in the pot and fit and seal perfectly and the filter again is a perfect replacement and allow you to enjoy coffee from your favourite pot for a long time. Great service with next day delivery was good too. Highly recommended product.
