Kids Storm Jacket

Great lightweight waterproof jacket, rolls up quite small. Good length so covers up school blazer well. Great quality and keeps grandson dry. Looks good too with deep pockets.

I’ve been wearing the Regatta Stormbreaker for walking, commuting, and occasional outdoor chores — and it’s done exactly what I hoped. The waterproof material and taped seams genuinely keep rain and wind out, and the hood, elastic cuffs, and adjustable hem help block drafts on blustery days. It’s lightweight and packs down easily, so I can throw it in my bag when heading out. That means I’m rarely caught unprepared when the weather changes. On damp, overcast days it’s much more comfortable than a heavy coat. The only minor drawbacks: it isn’t particularly warm on its own — I needed a jumper underneath on colder days — and the fit is a bit snug across the chest when layering thick clothing. Overall, it’s a very good all-rounder for rainy weather — great for spring, autumn, walks, errands, or light outdoor work.

These are great value for money, bought for both my sons & they are perfect for rolling up in their school bags so they don’t get caught out in the rain! Nice & long to to cover school blazers!

Saved our golf weekend. Didn’t let in any water, wish I could say the same for my golf shoes, glove and trousers.

I cannot understand why manufacturers cannot make things to the same sizing standards. I needed a Large (L) to replace my existing worn Large sized waterproof jacket. I first ordered a Large. When it came in, it was more like a Medium (M). I sent that back for an Extra Large (XL), which when that came in, was not much bigger. I then had to order an Extra, Extra Large (XXL) which was finally a little larger than my existing Large (L) but more like what I needed. But it took a lot of faffing about to get there. See photo 1: The jacket is nice and waterproof/weatherproof, but please be aware there is no lining, not even mesh on the inside, so will feel a bit clammy on the skin if you don't wear something under it. But I'm ok with this. See photo 2: My biggest gripe is the pockets. They are the most poorly designed I have ever experienced in a jacket/coat like this. They are absolutely useless. They are horizontal with a tiny flap that goes over, and unfortunately they separate, which means that any kind of rain, and whatever there's in the pockets will get wet, and not secure. I am going to keep the jacket as I've been through enough trying to get the right size, but I will have to put velcro on the pockets to keep then shut and secure.

I ordered XXXL, the coat may be XXL, or a large XL. I ordered XXXL so I could wear a sweater underneath it but It is tight with a short sleeve shirt. It is waterproof and seems well made. Order
