Does this product come sealed? Is it legitimate? Thanks.

I have bought this several times for my grandchildren and it usually arrives sealed in a plastic bag and with tape over the lid opening - I have never had any cause to doubt it being genuine and the kids love it.

My son swims 6 times a week so is exposed to chlorine everyday. Will this be effective enough?
