I purchased these because I keep my phone and iPad in protective cases which make access to the headphone socket difficult for the jacks on most auxiliary and headphone cables.They have solved the problem as the FosPower jack adaptor is slim enough to fit into the socket on both devices in their cases. This means that I can listen to audio in the car for example without removing the case. Bought three so one left as a spare, but the build quality of these seems pretty good.A simple little idea but well executed by this product.

Exactly the kind of adapter that's needed for headphones with narrow opening and phones with thick cases.After the headphone cable for my Oppo PM3 planar magnetic headphone was damaged the replacement standard cables were too wide and needed manual modding to the ends which made them fragile and aesthetically displeasing.This adapters however fit perfectly and opened up the use of any audio cables.Great price and quality

As with many people, I needed a way to use both my daily and lounge headphones with my cased-up iPhone, which restricts most, if not all, of the headphones of even a year or two ago from being able to negotiate the jack cutout depth of the case.These jack adapters are very well made, solid metal with gold connection, fused completely with the casing. The jack point fits as easily into the iPhone jack as easily as any normal headphones, but it is slim enough to get through the case cutout, which is what I wanted it for.I also like the fact that when putting your headphones into the adapter there is a nice solid click, so this tight connection combined with the slightly looser connection into the phone will go some way to preventing the phone from getting ripped out of your pocket if the lead is tugged hard on.I wouldn't call these real gold plated though, as just through a couple of months usage the gold on the jack has actually all come off and is now completely silver, so the "24k gold plated connectors" claim is dubious.

Fantastic product. I bought it to help activate a low impedance head or ear phones below 50 Ohm, using the LG V series Quad DAC to sound louder and cleaner, which no other smartphone can match LG V and now G series phones. Works like a charm, once you've tried it, i bet you'll hate all other phones sound quality, using 3.5mm jack. Tried the Note 9 after i just recently purchased it, coming from LG V10, and quickly sold it and bought the V30 and my smile was return immediately. It works well with protective case on.

Why, oh why, do manufacturers recess jack sockets into holes which are too narrow for many jack plugs? After unsucessfully looking for cables with sufficiently narrow plug casing, I found these adapters which mean all my leads are now usable. These fit the offending devices and are very well made and durable. The socket has a nice tight secure fit.

Bought this to use with my iPhone in an official apple smart battery case. The adapter is not long or slim enough to work correctly. If your hope is to use it with the smart battery case, do not buy this product

small size and sturdy design allow if to fit through the gap in the...'armour', on my bv6000 phone. meaning it should easily fit through the case gaps on fashion phones.and its convenient enough that i can either just leave it in the phone or put it in my wallet.i hope for anyone else looking for one of these, that they arent put off by the undeserved low ratings from salty iFanboys and their buggy toys.

Very disappointed with this product.I purchased a 3 pack and each one I used caused noise when plugged into my DAC. They "look" the part but are awful when it comes to performance. The moment I removed them and used my headphones directly the difference was night and day... avoid.There is another review on here who reports the same issues. Also for the curious, I'm using a jack extender on my DAC so I don't wear the 3.5mm jack over time (as I unplug my headphones daily etc). This way, the jack extender socket takes the wear and tear, instead of the DAC socket.I have purchased a cable solution instead from Amazon:UpLink PW - 0.5m 3.5mm jack extension cable.
