There is only so much one can write about a cable but this works perfectly and in a world where cables can be surprisingly expensive is a great price.

A cheap DVI to DVI cable that works. At this price point you can't really complain.

Like all Amazon Basic items, the design of this item hasn't seen any corners cut. A nice, and flexible heavy-gauge cable and solid-feeling plugs at both ends with screw locks.In use with two different monitors and two different types of HDMI to DVI adapter, operation has been flawless with perfect picture quality, no syncing issues, etc.Just by this one and don't subject yourself to the potential for a low-quality lead to turn up by shopping for "bargains" from far-eastern suppliers.

I needed some extra cordage to run a DVI cable from the back of my computer tower to my 1080p Dell display. This was after moving my office around and realising I did not have sufficient length with my current cable setup. Delivered quickly as usual with Amazon Prime, I paid just a smidge over £7 January 2020. The cable feels strong enough, but will not be exposed too much of a beating at the back of my desk. No issues with picture quality or anything else really to report. One thing I am glad about is that Amazon is packaging the basic range in cardboard boxes which can be recycled, see included image.

I needed a new DVI lead for a new monitor. I have used Amazon Basic cables before and been very impressed with them, so ordered this one. I was not disappointed, the build quality is anything BUT basic! Very solidly-made connectors, very chunky cabling and ferrite cores at each end - excellent! The one thing that did make me scratch my head though was the packaging. It said in the blurb supplied in 'frustration-free' packaging. It was - but then it was sealed in a plastic jiffy bag, with no easy way in. Even my craft knife had trouble getting through! The lead itself was brilliant though and excellent value, so I'm very happy!

There's not a lot one can say about a lead like this - it is a DVI to DVI cable - but you already knew that...... right? It is a solidly built cable from Amazon's "AmazonBasic" range, and trust me on this - but you don't need a more expensive cable than this. No matter how impressive the other DVI to DVI cables you have been looking at are, with their fancy gold plating and impressive diagrams/photos of the internals of their cable, this cable is all you need and you really don't need to spend any more money than this. One thing I would say though is...... measure, measure, measure! I'm reading so many posts that say the cable they bought was too short, well do your homework and measure for what length you need.
