Cadbury Dairy Milk Buttons, Creamy Milk Chocolate Buttons, 40 g (Pack of 1)

I ordered these as they popped up on a Facebook money saving page. Loving a good bargain and the fact it’s a full box of flakes, I thought I was onto a winner as a cheeky surprise for my two teenage sons. In my excitement of saving a few quid it slipped my mind that every Monday morning I have to report to Jackie, the local slimming world consultant, .due to the fact that over the years, I’ve consumed my fair share of flakes and other things which has led us to this predicament. Naively, I thought I would have willpower to resist all temptation and that the incentive of bagging the “slimmer of the week” hamper of butter beans, out of date soup and the tin of pease pudding that’s been recycled more times, than a Costco water bottle would spur me on. All was going well until the youngest child returned from school and opened the box. Having read previous reviews saying the flakes were fake, of course I had to test, plus it didn’t help they smelt amazing. That subtle aroma of cadburys chocolate that instantly gets your juices flowing! So now we have 137 flakes and I still have to resist snaffling a good chunk of them until Monday, when I have to convince Jackie its water retention due to the heat and not the fact I’ve been been on them like a sparrow on a crumb. Very good flakes, I am just weak, what more can I say!

I bought this as an alternative to another box of chocolate bars that wasn't in stock for our Subscribe and Save offer. It's Flake, so if you like Flake then you'll like this. However, what I didn't realise is that the bars are not individually wrapped, but just all lumped together in a giant silver bag - presumably for use in catering. If that had been clearer on the item description, we wouldn't have bought it, as it completely negates the portability, so be warned. It also meant about a third of them were smashed to pieces (I've made use of them in baking and things, but still).

Arrived today and after reading some of the reviews saying they didn't taste like Cadbury flakes I can confirm they DO taste exactly like Cadbury flakes 100% I will be ordering again super value for money

Ideal for a quick chocolate fix for small children and lovely with ice cream.
