Jokes aside, this product works great. It's super simple to fit and looks fine. It is plastic so be careful not to overtighten screws! I have some nasty old bolts through the door which did foul the opening of the flap a little but I just loosened the top screws off a bit to give it room. I also had to refit the brushes but only to straighten a small group of hairs that were caught in the mechanism. It was purely cosmetic but you want it to look nice.

Good Price and keeps draughts out.
Good for the price and keeps the draughts out well, but don't expect it to be too long lasting. Did the job fine for a year, and then one of the plastic ends snapped off and the flap was delivered on the door mat along with the post. I do get a lot of post and some of it is quite big and gets thrust through quite vigorously. But at this price I can't really grumble and I've just bought another one. Easy to fit, just unscrew old one and rescrew in new one. Took about two minutes.

Excludes droughts but…
So strong that postmen struggle to push letters through letterbox and use their hands which leaves outside flap pushed in and I have to keep pushing it back in place…
