Ideal Bits for Low-Power CNC Machines
The media could not be loaded. These were my first end mills for cutting aluminum, and I’m seriously impressed. I’m using them on a Lunyee 3018 Pro Ultra CNC machine with a 500W DC spindle, and the performance has been excellent.I chose these DLC-coated single-flute bits because I heard they work well without coolant, and that’s absolutely true. I’ve had no issues with aluminum sticking to the bit, which tells me the coating is doing its job perfectly. The single-flute design is also a must when using a lower-power spindle like mine—great chip evacuation and no bogging down. The set includes 10 bits, each packed in its own sturdy case. I’ve only used one so far, and it’s still going strong after lots of cuts through 6061 aluminum. I’ve also tried them on hardwood with no problems. For the price, these are an outstanding value. If you’re running a hobby CNC and need reliable bits for aluminum and wood, these are a great choice.

Good but undersize
The cutter is good and a nice price, but my batch were undersize from ⅛ (3.15) to 2.85. Although perfectly useable you need to measure the cutter diameter and incorporate that size into your project, not the size on the packet. Moral is "don't believe everything you read". Three stars for wasting my time by claiming ⅛ diameter. True measurement would be have got 5 stars.

Good value 3mm cutters (They don't cut 1/8")
My first go at milling Aluminium plate (on a hobby grade CNC). They work very well at 12k (max speed on my spindle) 500mm/min and 0.2 mm cut. Not fast by any means but the cutters don't get even warm, the surface finish is good and it keeps the vibration down. Being a single flute it's not a good idea to plunge (I use ramp for boring and contours).N.B. The description says 1/8 cut. These are 1/8 shaft but cut 3mm not 3.12mm. This is a plus for me because I use metric anyway!

Still on the first one
So far I have used these to cut aluminium and numerous hardwoods with no issues whatsoever.I am still using my first cutter, and this still has an extremely sharp cutting edge.Highly recommended.
