Exo Terra Digital Thermometer

I haven't tested the accuracy of this thermometer, but with the probe placed against the probe of my microclimate ministat, the temperature shown roughly matches that the stat is set to (to within half a degree at the max end before the stat turns the mat off again). It comes with some proprietary attachment option that I didn't need, but also adhesive velcro strips, which I used to attach it to the top of my glass viv. The wire is fairly long, you'd need a humongous viv/tank/terrarium for it to not be able to reach where you want the display to be. The min/max options accessed by the button work easily, and are much more useful than I thought. You can easily see how low the temperature dropped in the night, or shortly after resetting it, how big the hysteresis window of your thermostat is.

Had one of these for 7 years, when I first got my gecko. The original battery never ran out. However, after moving her tank whilst moving homes, some of her stuff broke the sensor inside the tank so I had to get a new one. Ordered yesterday, came today. Includes a battery, and works as intended. I get accurate readings and now I can tell when my girl is enjoying her time or not. Thanks a bunch!

We have several reptiles here and always use Exo thermometer when we are looking for a single probe. Very accurate and reliable, last a long time on one battery (over a year) and battery is standard easy to find and buy when replacements are needed. From giant snails to geckos - these thermometers are great to use on their own or along side a mat stat.

The accuracy is good, about a degree or so either way. Apart from that, they work as they should, I've bought two and they doing what they are supposed to do.

I have had two of these for a couple of months now and they work like a charm. I have them attached by Velcro on my tortoise table with the probe hanging over. They give back accurate readings in both Fahrenheit and Celsius (optional) and look very smart and not tacky. Overall very pleased and a must for any one who wants to record there reptiles habitat temperature.

I bought 2 of these to keep track of the hot and cold sides of my new leopard gecko's (Leia) vivarium and see how the heat mat was doing against what the thermostat said. The 1st thing I did was tie wrap the 2 probes together to check any inconsistencies between them... Turned out to be a 0.4 of a degree difference between them which I'd say is quite acceptable for less than £8 each!! They are pretty sensitive, measuring change from just breathing a few inches away or touching the probe tip for 1 or 2 seconds. All in all a great buy for anyone who owns reptiles!...and cheap enough to buy a couple!

S'adapte parfaitement sur les rampes de même marque ou peut se fixer avec du double face si on a pas la rampe de la marque. Top et précis.

Rigging this up is very easy, especially with the velcro strips included. The probe might focus in on your hand temperatures when setting it up, but if left alone for a few minutes, it levels out and does very well. Good price, too.
